I wanted to do this for a while so i better do it now. I would say
this is my greatest hits album for dragon ash according to the songs

Well i think thats all but i really think im missin a couple tracks
though o well ill put them up later
I finally got the whole cd again by not buying by gettin alll the
songs on my computer. I really really like this cd it got a kinda
latin feel to it with the guitars in some songs. Its really soft
though not no hard rock songs on it really just crush the window which
is good. Its just a cd to listen to at night time or when ur out on a
nice day when its almost sunset thats what i think. So thats my review
ill give it 8 out of 10 stars for now.
for me my opinion i really dont have the album i never baught any of
there albums i always download song by song and eventually get the
album. So now i say Rio De Emocion is ok u know im tryin to get used
to it i only heard samples from dragon ash website and liek im
addicted to Los Lobos everytime i hear it on my cdplayer and i love
crush the window but Yunagi Union is ok but i rarely listen to it u
know and if i had to say about what song i like really its a nice
soothing instrumental like illogical which i think thats it or
something like Palmas Rock but really i gotta hear them all 2 really
choose what i like. And the Los Lobos video is lame but i love the
song.

The los lobos PV was not a great choice. Just a lot of the same stuff they had in previous PV's, with the dancers there and all. But i enjoyed rio de emocion more than 'harvest'. Towards the end of the album, they seemed to be taking the next step towards more a more electronic-based sound? I liked asanagi revival a lot and see you in a flash. ~e

I listened to rio de emocion. I must say it was better
than I thought. It seems Dragon Ash is going further
into the marijuana-induced sound. Lots of reggae
guitar chords. Real chilled out. I liked it. It's a
step up from Harvest and 20x better Lily of da valley.
After some more listens I'll have more thoughts but
yeah.
Anyone think the los lobos PV sucked?

Well, I like a mixture of fast songs, and mellow. I
have high hopes for this album, I thought Harvest was
so good. As far as the songs that are included,
Yuunagi Union is mellow, but Resound and Round Up were
both up beat. Crush the Window is somewhere in
between...I like those four songs, I'm glad they were
included, and I'm happy to see Shade left out...that
one wasn't so hot. One b-side that I really liked was
Soldier, from Crush the Window. It's too bad that was
left out, but that's what b-sides are for I suppose.

i think it's safe to assume a new album will be released by the year's
end. what i'm curious about is the variety in sound. listen to their
past three singles: Shade, crush the window, and Yuunagi Union. to me,
they sound completely different from one another. it makes me wonder
what new tracks the band has in store for us. will they differ or
follow a certain style of sound? as for Shade, are they going to do
what they did with Fantasista/HARVEST (include a single that's over a
year old and out of place)? i don't know, but i'm always excited when
Dragon Ash releases new music, and i'm anticipating their next one.
by the way, any SOURCE fans here that've heard their new single,
Subarashiki Hibi? i can't find it anywhere! i'm still bummed out that
Kimura Sou (G) left the group, as well as the band's old sound. still,
if anyone has the single, please e-mail me
I wasn't that excited about Shade. It just didn't
seem to stand out as anything in particular...but
Crush the Window was pretty good, and so was Yuunagi
Union, I thought. The b-sides that came with them
were pretty cool too. Releasing these two singles so
close to one another...could another album be on the
way??
Joey.

My girlfriend sent me the single when it was released, and crush the window
is not bad, but I honestly believe that they lost their edge when they
departed from their Viva la Revolution sound. Now they are trying to
incorporate drum n' bass sound way too often, and when they don't do drum n'
bass, they try to emulate the sound of 311. While they do add a certain
something that makes them dragon ash, I think they've blown themselves way
out of proportion. Right now, I don't think they'll truly grow as a band
until they take some bigger creative risks. It seems that they are changing
as a band just enough to keep them on the charts.

what do people think of their new singles? Once again, it seems like
the band is changing their sound a bit from their previous releases.
Good or bad? I can't wait to hear more in the future
I know that this is proably a repeated question, but i was wondering
if any of you have mp3's / links to mp3s that i can download as i
want to hear more than one track before buying an album.
I have found someo links in the previous messages, but none of that
seem to work.
Help?
I think that's the normal version, lol

Hi everyone, does anyone here know how to tell if Dragon
Ash's "Harvest" album is a first edition or not? I read somewhere
that the first edition is suppose to have special packaging and a
full color insert but the one I bought seems like normal packaging.
It's just shrink-wrapped like any other CD and inside has a colored 3-
fold insert (as the CD cover) and also a brown paper lyric booklet,
but that's it. So did I buy a first edition "Harvest" album? Please
help me out. Thanks.
I think I speak for everyone when I ask "Where are the translations?"
I'm new here but wanted to say... I saw them at Rock In Japan Festival
2004... friggin amazing.
I know some one has all these translated and they are hiding them or
something, lol.
Thanks
