I think I speak for everyone when I ask "Where are the translations?"
I'm new here but wanted to say... I saw them at Rock In Japan Festival
2004... friggin amazing.
I know some one has all these translated and they are hiding them or
something, lol.
Thanks
Thank you for your help Mike, much appreciated. Was looking for a
japanese site along the lines of cdcovers.cc, but will have a look.

You can find good-sized images of Dragon Ash's CD
covers at some online shops like HMV.co.jp and
Tsutaya.co.jp. DA's website also has covers, but
they're probably not in that high of resolution,
depending on what you need them for. You could also
try Google.co.jp image search.

I personally like it. It isn't the best song they have, but the lack of rapping is a great step in the right direction. The rap stuff was cute at first, but got old around the time of Steady & co. Its also nice to see them looking like a rock band again. Kenji has longish hair, pants that fit! etc. I think it is a sign of good things to come.
And it may sound like Incubus a bit(I blame the turn tables), but you know their singles are never like the full albums. contrast Grateful days to Viva, Fantasista to Harvest, etc. It should be all good! Take it easy all.

Hello!
I found the lyrics on internet
By the way, here are the lyrics, enjoy! ^.^
----------------------------------------------
SHADE
Lyrics : Kj
Music : Dragon Ash
If your eyes hurt in the glaring sunlight
You should hide under the tree until the night
It will be nice and quiet around here after dark
Then you'd better go to the park
That's all I can say for you
**Even if it's so rambling word...
Even if it's so rambling scar...
*I hope my song will reach the parade
If you get tired of chilly darkness
You should open your eyes slowly and breathe
It will be nice and crowded here after dawn
Then you'd better take a round
That's all I can say for you
**
*
I wish you get rid of the oppression
*
--------------------------------------------------
THE LILLY
Lyrics : William Blake (1757-1827)
Music : Dragon Ash
The modest Rose puts forth a thorn,
The humble Sheep a threat'ning horn;
While the Lilly white shall in Love delight,
Nor a thorn, nor a threat, stain her beauty bright.
--------------------------------------------------
As far as I'm concerned, I like SHADE and THE LILLY very much (Kj is
still really good for writing lyrics!!) Even if I still prefer
Dragon Ash old rock sounds ^_^
BakaNeko,

I think this song is out and out Incubus rip-off, from the singing to turntables. It is an ok song at best in my opinion. It just reminds me far too much of Incubus
I seen the PV for shade and it resemble alot like the band Incubus. Shade is decent, But i like the lilly, it reminded me of landscape from the harvest album. After all this i would'nt mind seeing kj doing pure hip hop next ^^. ahhh the grateful days..

We all know Kenji has a thing for lillys after hearing it in almost
all his songs. Kj is way religous now, After listening to the
harvest album many times, you can sense that he has finally reach
god. Dragon ash used to be a good "rock" band. They used to be a
good rap/hiphop band too. Face to face, generation mind, fever, the
day dragged on, are some of the best underated dragon ash songs.
Hi wa Mata Nobori Kurikaesu is the greatest dragon ash song ever!
Yeah i dont like it either. It sounds like 311 crap. Ever since Viva i think theyve been going downhill. Or maybe it was when they let 2 dancers into the group. They should go back and do some more rock/punk or if its a rap just let bots handle the beats.
I seen the PV for shade and it resemble alot like the band Incubus.
Shade is decent, But i like the lilly, it reminded me of landscape
from the harvest album. After all this i would'nt mind seeing kj
doing pure hip hop next ^^. ahhh the grateful days..
Yeah, I have to agree. It's an alright song, but
nothing spectacular, perhaps I was too excited, it
being their first single since Harvest, which I
thought was a great direction they were moving
towards.
Interesting fact though, "The Lilly" is a poem by
William Blake, and the lyrics for that song were taken
from there.
Anybody know, from interviews or anything, what
Kenji's obsession with lillies comes from? It seems
as if he had some sort of life changing experience
from them, ha ha, or perhaps it's just a reference he
can't stop using.

Well actually, Kenji trades off vocals in there with Verbal. Though they are
sort of hard to
tell apart at times. But yeah, that album is really great.

i have 2 admit. this one is a one bloody damn good album. i love it.
M-Flo - Miss You (Feat. Melody & Ryohei Yamamoto) PV is soo cute.
though i'm a lil bit disappointed with M-Flo - Way You Move (Feat.
Dragon Ash) PV - coz there's no D.A in it!! damn!
DA released a new single on 7/14 titled "Shade."
Tracklisting:
01. Shade
02. Shade (BOOM BOOM SATELLITES REMIX)
03. The Lilly
I've given it a listen and I've gotta admit I don't
like it. Sounds like a lot of that mainstream rock
that dominated the radio back when Limp Bizkit were
big. No offense to anyone who enjoys that style of
music, but it's played out. Although the single is not
all bad, it's an okay song in its own right.
Speaking of the other tracks: The remix is pretty
average, and "The Lilly" is kind of nice.. It's a
rather simple acoustic/atmospheric type of song.
...And that pretty much sums up my impression. ;/

That would be singer Nomiya Maki, for those curious. I've never heard her music
before, but I've heard her name dropped a few times, and nothing but good
things.
- Mike
I've listened to it as well. Given, I've never heard
M-flo before, but I liked about half the album. I
dunno, some of the collaborations (especially with
most of the female vocalists) were too "pop"y for me I
guess. They're hit and miss with their lyrics too I
think...pretty cheesy in my opinion.
I did like the Dragon Ash collaboration though...I
also liked "Get On" w/Crystal Kay, and loved "Cosmic
Night Run" with somebody (kanji! ack!) & Crazy Ken
Band, as well as "Something no uouo" with Boy-Ken &
Black Bottom Brass Band. Those two tracks were
spectacular in my opinion. Boy-Ken is awesome, I
hadn't heard of him before...and BBBB has collabarated
for some great tracks with Rip Slyme.
Anyway, don't get mad at me if you really liked this
album...M-flo's talented for sure, just not for me I
think...now I wonder if I can find any Boy-Ken or BBBB
to download^_^....
Joey.

I gave m-flo's new album a listen for the first time this morning. Really good
stuff, I think. I wasn't sure of what sort of album they would make without LISA
involved, but it sounds like they can definitely stand on their own 2 feet.
Their recent "m-flo loves..." singles have been pretty typical (m-flo-wise). I
liked 'em but didn't think they were anything _that_ special. I worried they
were going to make another re-hash of Planet Shining/EXPO EXPO, but I guess this
is something different. I like the prominent jazz, house, and other styles that
have been thrown into the mix.
I've got to give it more listens but I think this album is definitely not a
letdown. The collab w/ Dragon Ash is really good also, IMO.
