Danger/Warrant/Lynchmob style Formed in Austin, TX in 1988, Blind
Date began writing songs, recording and performing in Texas. In 1988
and 1989 they were voted best metal/progressive band in San Antonio.
They rapidly became a top draw in Austin and San Antonio venues. At
the end of 1989 they recorded with engineer John Viehweg who is
credited for recording the demo that signed Dangerous Toys to
Columbia Records.By the beginning of 1990, all 3 tracks from Blind
Date's demo began receiving spins on local radio stations throughout
Texas. The band earned a huge street buzz, and became the supporting
act for many major label U.S. touring bands including; Vixen, Helix,

Hairball Stripperama - Week 1 - After returning from a weekend in the
City of Sin and Skin (Las Vegas), we feel compelled to devote an
entire show to the songs that make you want to take your clothes off.
The response for requests was so overwhelming that we have been
forced to make this a two week extravaganza.



This week we also welcome Drivin Rain vocalist Timexx Nasty and The
Bloody Stools mastermind Obie Obrien. Timexx bring us up to date on
what is new in the Drivin Rain camp, including a recent distribution
deal with Perris Records. While Obie takes us back to 1991 when The
Bloody Stools were poised to take over the world, or Hell, whichever
came first.

We will be heading back into Echo Echo Studio at the end of July to
work on the new DRIvIN' RAIN cd. At this time called "Delightfully
Evil". So far we have 7 songs ready to go "Drink My Wine", "Get
Lucky", "Reality Check", "Buried Alive", "Delightfully
Evil", "Unmarked Grave", "Need Your Lovin", and several more we are
still working on.

We have been adding a few of these songs to our set list to see how
they go over live. With a few changes here and there, we got them
ready to rock!
We are very proud of the success our "S/T" CD has gotten since its
release last year. We hope to top it with this new batch of songs.

We can't wait to get these new songs out to you and we look forward
to seeing you on the road this year. We thank you all for the support
and love you have given to DRIvIN' RAIN since 1994! We hope to make
