A former friend/Drop Dead Magazine associate of ours, one Alex Baker, is apparently starting his own magazine. Good for him; HOWEVER...
However, he's taken confidential information from Drop Dead Magazine and is contacting anyone who's ever advertised or wrote for us, asking them to advertise and work with him on his project because 'Drop Dead Magazine is belly-up'. Not true
The truth is we have more devoted staff working on the magazine, more distribution, more pages - up to 80 now! (and full-color too!), and more content then ever before. We're doing smashingly well, and this sneaky fellow will not be working with us EVER again. His loss! So to potential advertisers, staff, those interested and the public in general:
Alex Baker does not work for us or is associated with Drop Dead Magazine, Drop Dead Festival, or NY Decay in any way.
