A former friend/Drop Dead Magazine associate of ours, one Alex Baker, is apparently starting his own magazine. Good for him; HOWEVER...

However, he's taken confidential information from Drop Dead Magazine and is contacting anyone who's ever advertised or wrote for us, asking them to advertise and work with him on his project because 'Drop Dead Magazine is belly-up'. Not true

The truth is we have more devoted staff working on the magazine, more distribution, more pages - up to 80 now! (and full-color too!), and more content then ever before. We're doing smashingly well, and this sneaky fellow will not be working with us EVER again. His loss! So to potential advertisers, staff, those interested and the public in general:

Alex Baker does not work for us or is associated with Drop Dead Magazine, Drop Dead Festival, or NY Decay in any way.

In the Mean Time this is what we have for the next issue of the Drop Dead Magazine, out soon:
Upcoming issue features some of the best bands and events of the Deathrock, Goth and Punk scenes old and New . Here you will find Alien Sex Fiend Art, New Days of Jesus, Scarlet Remains, Din Glorious, Under Cover of Darkness, Trashcave and Drop Dead 2006 coverage, Blitzkid, Moldig, Eva O, Sixteens, Hysteric Helen, The Screamers Nervous Gender and Crawling Chaos, Synthpunk history New ands profile, album and DVD Reviews, Art, photography and posters and much much more
you can subscribe now or get back issues by clickin on of those covers or going here : dropdeadmagazine.com/sc.htm
