hello,
well, this is a very good topic. i personally feel trading should be
encouraged as long as no one makes any profits. i think fans should
be able to have all the cool underground stuff. i have spent a lot of
my life collectiong awesome stuff that tons of fans have never heard
and i want to give them that chance. that being said, i don't want to
piss anyone off either.
people should try to help the fans out who never had access to cool
materials and file sharing is one way that this can be achieved. many
people feel this is not the case. record companies and other such
parasites think otherwise. well, if they really cared what we
thought, they would issue all of this stuff for us to buy. i have
hundreds of duran duran records. what makes them think i want to
"steal" from them? i'd buy live shows from 1981 if they were selling
them.
so, that being said. go wild with the trading. i hope some people
can pad their collections with good stuff.
my find of the week is '1981 live off the record / chichester fest' on
video (mpg). 24 mins. great quality. it looked so dope on my
projector!! i'd been waiting to see it for 23 years ;-)
bye,
