Hello Folks.
Here's the finalised dates for the Eastfield tour. We're playing a party in
Leuven this Saturday followed by a mini tour of Switzerland and Bavaria. Expect
us to return with boxes of cruelty-free Leiderhosen and Cuckoos liberated from
their clocks. That's our christmas shopping done and it's not even Easter.
cheers.

Hello Folks.

Curse that white stuff...for the second time this week Eastfield are stuck in a
snowdrift and can't get anywhere. Regretably we aren't able to get to Nottingham
and so won't be playing there this evening. A shame as we were looking forward

playing....it's a benefit for Faslane Peace Camp so well worth supporting.

Apologies to all concerned. If it's any consolation, I went to see Zounds in

Curse that white stuff...the rest of Eastfield are stuck in a snowdrift and
can't get out of their road. I've just got home after being in the middle of
nowhere laying railway tracks for the last few days and haven't had access to

massive snowploughs on the front so we could have powered our way to Blackpool.

Hello Folks,Leamington Spa is one of about 300 similar towns that lay claim to
having an oak tree that lies slap bang in the centre of the country. Whether or
not there is any geographical truth in such piffle is highly debatable but you
can't see it anyway as it's currently under twenty foot of snow. They call this
adverse weather conditions, but I dread to think how they coped in the ice age.
Probably had loads of days off work. Hurrah! However, it wont stop Eastfield

To add to the macabre spectacle, we also have Oddo straight out of his recent

Hello Folks
Rugby is famous for 3 things...a dafty game played with the wrong-shaped ball,
formerly being an important railway junction and the heavy metal band 'Flyboy'.
The ex-members of Flyboy have formed 'Painsville' who this Friday play a free
gig in the town with urban rail punkers Eastfield.
Also present for the evening will be recouperating Eastfield drummer Oddo
sitting behind the 'Eastfield plc' merchandise stall. He is under strict doctors
orders not to lift things or drum so we have been obliged to find something else
useful for him to do...Buy a CD or a t-shirt and he may even show you his scars!
Sounds like being a good night - hope to see you there.
cheers

Hello Folks. In a rare bout of efficiency, I sent this out a few weeks ago. so
here is a reminder to clog up your in-boxes. It probably wont appeal to anyone
north of the river especially as the East London line is till out of action but
there are normal trains from London Bridge/Waterloo East/Charing Cross courtesy
of Connex South Central or whatever dastardly name has been given to what used
to be British Rail...or Network South East, ahem! But before I get into an
anti-privatisation tirade, here is the gen:
Wednesday 16 July 2008 - LONDON New Cross Inn.
323 New Cross Road. SE14 6AS.
The Garden Gang, Eastfield and Johnny Deptford.
8pm. Free entry.
1st band on at 9pm. Eastfield on second at 9.45/10pm ish.(nearest rail stations:

Hello Folks

Please note, Eastfield are no longer playing Demob's 30th anniversary in
Gloucester this Friday...they cancelled it after sacking their bass player. What
a shame to last a mere 29 years and 361 days!

However, we are still playing Glastonwick Beer Festival on Saturday, but
apparently the day has sold out. For those lucky enough top have a ticket,
Eastfield are on at 2.05pm, it should be fairly relaxed then! Have it!

Saturday 5th July 2008 - Glastonwick Beer Festival.(Church Farm, Coombes, West
Sussex BN15 ORS)....
Blyth Power, PPZ30, Meow Meows, Contingent, Luke Wright, EastfieldWob, Babar
Luck, Pog, Evan Greer, Crispin Thomas and Kevin 2 Sheds....
12 noon -12pm....Eastfield on at 2.05pm....

Please bear with us whilst the website www.eastfieldrailpunk.co.uk is down.
We've been experiencing hosting problems that should be resolved shortly.
On a more positive note, Oddo has had his operation/F exam and is recovering
marvellously.

Hello Folks
All around us everything appears to be derailing faster than you can say
"Railtrack are incompetent bastards"...Oddo our drummer is currently stored
unserviceable awaiting an operation and our website is has decided to succumb to
some kind of technical meltdown and been down for a week.
Fear not, everyone agrees that the show must go on - so we are fulfilling our
existing gigs with various more than able mates, comrades and co-conspirators
occupying the drum stool. This Saturday's gig in Motherwell is indeed
happening...we're doing it as a one-off as that's the kind of crazy mixed up
kids we are. Nae bother.
