RE: [Electone Club International] New member - presentation

Hi Henning, I'm Dave, Just bough this organ, had some lessons many years
ago, but didn't have time to finish them,so back to learning for me, one
day might be as good as you, but it will take a long time.
Thanks for the e-mail, nice to know there are still some people out
there with some knowledge.
Regards Dave Carver

Subject: [Electone Club International] New member - presentation

Hi! I am a Danish organ enthusiast aged 39. I have been playing
organs for some 30 years. I actually started on a Yamaha BK4 back in
the early seventies. It was a very limited organ, but it was a great
introduction to what has become (so far) a lifelong hobby.

In 1979 I purchased a C35 model (one of the first Electone models
featuring Symphonic Chorus), and I actually found it usefull when
playing at parties etc.

At present I own a couple of tonewheel Hammonds, a lovely Baldwin
Zodiac 126 and a Yamaha D85 (which do have some very nice and smooth
retro sounds).

I still find the good old electronic organs very inspiring and
charming. They were so different that you could often tell which
organ brand (and even model) were playing. Although I do play modern
keyboards as well, I often tend to prefer playing organs. When I sit
in front of one of my organs, I feel like "coming home" again.

Many greetings from Henning
