Re: [Electone Talk] Electone for Church

Hi

an electone is not suitable for church!
in the Roman Catholic church, the pipe organ is the main instrument of
the church. the splendour of the sound produced by the pipe organ is
so majestic to lift up our hearts in worship . an electone is never
meant for use in the church. it is a performance instrument, suitable
for concert halls, pubs, lounges for entertaintment purposes but not
the church. to begin with, the percussions included with the electone
is a no no !!!!! we are in church to worship the Lord not to be
entertained by the big band, orchestra soubnds of the electone! please
read up on the church documents, (musicam sacram )before getting an
instrument.
regards

model (el90 or el70) and if the church is great you should provide an
output to a good amplifyer and a good pair (two good pairs) of speakers.

models are well convenient, the el-X0 series has good classical
sounds. Perhaps an elX1m ? for a church, it would be great !...

sounding, to be powerfull enough, i suggest an el900 (el700 is no more
manufactured). You could also buy an el100 (organ sounds very good)
with a good amplifyer, it's a midi supporting organ, you could use
such files for classic job.
