Greetings all,

Somewhat new to this list. I have a question - I have a Yamaha Eletone
US-1 (I know - an old dinosaur - but sounds great!) however Windows XP
is the first operating system that has actually allowed me to put the
Performance disks in and read the files on it. However, as typical,
there's nothing to "open the file with", and as well, they won't play
via a standard MIDI program. Is there any way to convert the .R00 and
.EVT extensions (and obviously its data) to MIDI? I'm assuming that
one is registration data and the other is the actual "note" and
"performance" data.

Anyone shed some light...please? I would love to be able to play the
US-1 from my laptop instead of using the damn disks all the time.
