The concert is less than 4 weeks away (16th March,
8pm, Green room@UCC) - So now its time to really get
down and busy!!!

This e-mail contains plenty of IMPORTANT info, so
please take note.

REHEARSALS

9th March - CFA building - Evening (TBC)
15th March - Green Room (actual venue) - Afternoon
(TBC)

You REALLY have to complete your songs by the 9th of
March. Bring down your tracks to the rehearsals in
.wav format on a CD or thumbdrive (unless you composed
the song in the studio on the Toshiba laptop!)

All performers also have to turn up - as we have
limited rehearsal time.



EML EQUIPMENT + CONSIDERATIONS

We will have:

2 Laptops running Ableton Live v4
1 Alesis Photon midi controller
JD-800 keyboard synth
XP-50 keyboard synth
2 Mackie sub-mixers
Microphones

Video projectors
Lighting FX


Your minus-one track will be played off the laptops
and you'll play the remaining part/instrument over it.

Please mixdown your minus-one tracks to .wav format
and bring it on a CD or thumbdrive.

Bringing your own music equipment? (eg. laptop,
keyboard, guitar) - Tell us ASAP.



SUBMISSIONS FOR VISUAL ARTIST (or VJ)

As you know we will have a projector screening live
visuals onto the wall to accompany the music
performance according to our theme - that is; 'The
Evolution of Machines'

EML member Witono (raydream_ework@...) and
Netagon (www.netagon.com.sg) are our visual artists or
VJs for the night, and will be providing video and
graphics for your songs - so we will be working
closely with Witono for this.

So please read this part carefully:

1. Witono will need images, photos, video that the
performer would want that suits his tracks. Pls flood
his mailbox! :)

2. Also, for the videos, Witono will need you to
separate your music into 2 different tracks; the full
track, and a SOLO track with the main melody. He will
sync the videos based on the solo track.

3. So please send him your separated tracks in .mp3
format ASAP (so he has time to to do nice visuals)

Only 60 tickets ($10 each) go on sale for this
concert.

24 have already been sold, 10 are reserved for
complimentary tickets (ie. guests), so as you can see,
not many are left.

We can 'pull' tickets out, and sell them by hand,
especially if you want to reserve them for your
friends!

So don't hesitate - just tell Jeff (new EML president;
he will take over this e-mail account soon!) at
94366570 or dr_jeff84@... to reserve the
tickets so he can 'pull' them out and sell them.
