Hello Group - Please accept my apologies if this is inappropriate
My uncle who was a true, die-hard, and devoted fan of Elvis. He
collected MANY things over his lifetime. In March, he passed away
after a long, hard fought illness. His collection of 116 albums and
53 45's which I have kept together is just sitting in the corner. I
want these records to go to someone to cares for them as much as he
did. I don't know the best price to ask or how to set a price on the
albums. My uncle was a vietnam veteran and I'm not sure of the dates
of some of the albums. I don't want to break up the collection, I
would rather they go as a whole. I spoke with James Wages and he
said he was interested in the album collection but the price was too
high. The price that is set is $6000. That's an average $36 per
record and I know that some of these records are worth much, much
more than that. Where can I find a serious collector that would
cherish these collector's items?
