RE: [emax] Celebrity Emaxes Where are they now?

I read about a guy who loaned his emax I to the dust brothers and they used it
to create Paul's Boutique, such an amazing album. He still has the emax, but
what a seminal album, and a sample based album that you could not make and
release today because of all the clearance issues you would hit! You'd have a
lawsuit for every dollar. Not to mention how brilliant the album is musically.
That's a HD I would love to sift through to hear how they did it.

Peace

Subject: [emax] Celebrity Emaxes Where are they now?

I would LOVE to know how to get my paws on the Emax HD's or the Emax 2's that
Depeche used on the tours 88-93.

Could you imagine having Alan Wilder's Emaxes with the hard drives loaded with
Depeche Banks.

Just a dreaming session happening in my brain....

THey must still be around, I wonder who has them. I'm sure Alan didn't keep them
as he would move on as far as gear goes. I think he has an Emulator 3. But those
units must still exist somewhere.

Hmmmm any ideas people?
