I don't think so.. the fact that certain groups of keys stop working coupled with the failure of some of the front buttons seems to point the finger of blame...
The keys are in a matrix on Emax 1, if Emax 2 is similar it could be the ICs that interface to that section of the matrix or a single connection that is common...
Just FYI: www.musicparts.com are selling the Emax-II service manual as an online PDF. Perhaps a little bit expensive, but I think they are the only source......
