She has all the qualities of a star yet she displays the magnificence
of a constellation.
She has all the beauty of a rare and precious flower, and yet she
reflects the glory of an exotic garden.
She has all the talent of a true artist, yet she abounds with the
gifts and the secrets of the seraphims.
She is also a wife, a mother, and a wonderful woman.............We are
truly blessed.

Looks like the Dixie Chicks are getting a big "welcome back" at
Texas country radio.
The Chicks' new single, "Not Ready to Make Nice," is receiving
overwhelmingly positive responses at country station KTYS, "The
Texas Twister," in Arlington, Texas, which has been playing the song
about four times a day. "Of over 140 responses we have gotten at the
station, only 15 have been negative," KTYS Program Director "Crash"
Poteet tells Country Weekly. "We are just absolutely blown away."
The group's single was considered by some a "tough sell" at Texas
radio, based on the fallout from lead singer Natalie Maines' anti-
President Bush comments in 2003. Several stations in the state
removed the Dixie Chicks entirely from their playlists. Even Poteet
speculated that, "Here in Texas, we expected the (positive) rate to
be closer to 60%. Texas was the first to embrace the Dixie Chicks,
because they are from the state, but it was also the first to take
Natalie's comments very personally." The single actually talks about
the controversy over those statements, but that apparently has not
offended listeners. "Most of the (listener) comments have been the
same—it's time to move on, their music is still great," says
Poteet. "If this is any indication, it sounds like they're back."
Read more about the Dixie Chicks in the April 24 and May 8 issues of
Country Weekly, on sale April 10 and April 24, respectively.

I'm new to this place and I am mad that someone would say something
like that about Emily. Man I think she is awesome and very talented.
I think Emily's eyes are beautiful and also I think Emily is hot lol.
Well I think that person who said something bad about Emily doesn't
have any taste to females.
I can hardly believe that anyone would think to ask this question,
let alone have the front to support it with the statement "she sure
looks like it" I will attempt to reply , without letting Howard's
insensetivity get to me.
Anyone who looks at Mrs Robison and is met with anything other than
the most exquisite vision of female lovliness, has surly got a
problem with his/her own eyes and it's not just a simple stigmatism,
it may even be a problem with the brain itself!
Mrs Robison's eyes are at once, warm, loving and intelligent. They may
even (in their great beauty) be set at a slight angle that some may
think not quite straight ahead, this would hardly be surprising to a
thinker, after all, it is the slight imperfections and not the
perfectly symmetrical, that constitute much of the beauty of nature.
In her ability as well as in person, Mrs Robison is one of the finest
examples on earth, of the great bounty of nature's beauty.
Regards, Alan aka Dracher
Obviously howard is cross eyed to make a fool of himself like that.
Even if she was, what makes you think looks are the most important
thing. talent is important.

Man pretty much all those ratings and lists are all crappy. They try to be fair
and use a criteria but it really depends on 1) those deciding and 2) what kind
of mood they are in at the paticular moment. It's sorta like listening to
music. It depends on your mood as well as the person. I don't worry cause I
know Emily is number 1 in my book and no else's list will change that.

Sexiest or even Sexy, are terms I am very careful with, since they
have been some what debased over the years and like the term "cute"
they often refer to so many who are not. Having said this, If the
contest that rated Ms Robison eleventh, managed to find 10 women who
could get ahead of the person I happen to rate as the most beautiful
and talented woman, wife and mother who who ever lived, then it must
have either taken it's entrants from some place beyond this world, or
it was down right rigged!!!

Why don't you go elsewhere with your political banter. From the first sentence
I can tell 1) you're an idiot and 2) you don't listen to the Dixie Chicks. Nice
try. Better luck next time. I suggest anyone who really wants to register to
vote, and not have to go through partisan websites and read slanted arguments go
to the webpage:

There is a link at the bottom to the actual form. There is only one state that
cannot accept the form (by state law.)

Why don't more bands write songs about what's going on in the world
anymore? I admire the Dixie Chicks for speaking out about their
beliefs. There's a cool website that's spreading around right now
called VOTEsters (www.votesters.org) that is kinda like Friendster,
but with a political slant. The goal is to defeat Bush by getting
people to make sure all their friends get to the polls in November
to vote for Kerry. After you sign up, they send you helpful info
about how to help your friends get registered to vote, find their
polling places, etc. I grabbed this from their website "It's a
modern grassroots approach to the old Election Day GOTV phone bank,
but starts before any ballots are cast, is capable of growing
exponentially, is perpetuated entirely through online mechanisms,
and depends entirely on peer influence." I think the Dixie Chicks
should sign up on VOTEsters too! Seems like something they would be
into. Anyway, check out thes site. I just signed up and found a
bunch of my friends already on it: www.votesters.org

Okay so this review isn't exactly of a show but I thought some of you might be
interested. If not, I apologize in advance for the temporary intrusion to your
inbox. If you don't care about Coke then I suggest you stop reading now and
delete this email. Sorry for those of you who get this twice.
I recently had the opportunity to enjoy a Coca-Cola. Only this was a new
Coca-Cola. It was the new product dubbed "C2." Half the calories, half the
carbs. But what does it taste like? I'd have to say it doens't lose much.
Looking at the label C2 actually has LESS than half the calories of a regular
Coke*. 45 calories as compared to 100 on Coca-Cola Classic. Total Carb for C2
is 12g compared to 27g for Coca-Cola Classic. Sodium is still about the same.
30mg for C2 and 35mg for Coca-Cola Classic.
It doens't taste like a diet drink (as I half way expected it to.) It has all
the full flavor of a coke only it still feels a bit empty or lacking. To
resolve this, simply put some rum in it. Yes, that was a joke but I have a
feeling that Bacardi jumped the gun on their commercials about a rum and coke
being healthy if you have a rum and DIET coke. I believe that a rum and C2
would taste better. I digress. The lacking or empty taste isn't because of
formula. It's just been proven time and time again that you can't make
something healthy without changing the taste or leaving something more to be
desired. This review is coming from a hardcore Coca-Cola Classic drinker. If
you see me in a resturant ording a drink where only Pepsi products are served I
will most likely have tea or a root beer. Then it is likely I will not go back
to that resturant because I'm like that. I do have to give props to Regal
Cinema Fiesta 16 theatres in San Antonio though who now have Coke instead
of Pepsi. Call me petty but I would not like to go to that theatre because
they didn't have coke. At any rate, for a hardcore Coke fan such as myself, I'd
say it's interesting to try at least once. You might like it. I know I will be
buying more of it because I can honestly say that it's not bad. A word of
caution: It does contain Phenylalanine. I put that in bold cause it is bolded
on the C2 bottle. Look it up on Google if you don't know what it is, but
apparently it's an amino acid that snythesizes dopamine. Maybe that's why i'm
feeling happy right now. But any soft drink is empty calories. I just figure
if you're gonna drink empty calories you might as well drink a C2 and have half
of the calories to burn off. I don't say it'll cut your workout time in half
but you can lie to yourself and shave off 5 mintues from time to time when
you're tired and it will be partially justified.
*comparison based on 20oz bottles of C2 and Coca-Cola Classic. Serving size for
both is 8fl oz and both have 2.5 servings per bottle.
