Eminem's 'Shade 45' Radio Channel to Debut October 28th
Shade 45, the new uncensored hip-hop radio channel created by Eminem, Shady
Records, Interscope Records and SIRIUS, will debut on Thursday, October 28th.
Shade 45 will be heard on SIRIUS channel 45 and will hit the air with a live
broadcast of the Shady National Convention from New York's Roseland Ballroom.
Shade 45 will feature a full lineup of on-air hosts and mixers, including
Eminem's DJ, Green Lantern.
"SIRIUS, Interscope, Shady and Eminem have assembled the definitive hip-hop
radio channel," said Scott Greenstein, President of Entertainment and Sports,
SIRIUS. "Shade 45 will be a radio channel that for the first time directly
connects the artists with their fans. It will be originality of the highest
order, with no filters and no commercial restrictions."
Paul Rosenberg, Eminem's manager and VP of Shady Records, remarked, "We're
pleased to have Shade 45 launch live from the Convention. The station's mix of
uncensored hip-hop music and on-air personalities who can say whatever they want
is the kind of thing we at the SNC have fought for and will continue to
support."
Shade 45 will be available to all SIRIUS subscribers at no extra charge over the
standard monthly fee of $12.95.

MTV Vows To Continue Airing Eminem Video
Michael Jackson is furious after learning bosses at Mtv plan to continue airing
Eminem's controversial video for his single Just Lose It.
The 46-year-old Bad singer urged all TV networks to ban the clip, which features
Eminem dressed as Jackson, jumping around on a bed with young children. His nose
then falls off and his hair bursts into flames - which spoofs the Thriller
star's accident on the set of a Pepsi commercial in 1984.
And while Black Entertainment Television (BET) has banned the video, MTV has
decided to allow its broadcast, angering Jackson.
His spokesperson Raymone Bain tells website Eurweb, "Eminem released a
statement, he and Interscope, saying they stand by the video and they're
disappointed that BET pulled it. And MTV came out saying they were going to
continue to air it on MTV, MTV2 and MTV Europe."
Jackson adds, "I think it's the wrong thing to do. It should be pulled, it
shouldn't be played. It's incorrect."
Bain continues, "VH1 sent out a release this evening saying they were meeting on
whether or not they're going to air it. So for them to release something like
that must mean they're more than likely to pull it. I can't see them releasing a
statement saying they're in the process of meeting on it."

Benzino Supports Pulling Of Eminem Video
The Source's CEO Benzino has co-signed BET's decision to pull the latest
Eminem's video "Just Lose It" from rotation.
The first single and video from Eminem's upcoming album, Encore, pokes fun of
Michael Jackson. In one scene, Eminem wears Jackson's trademark red leather
jacket with kids bouncing around on a bed and raps: "Come here little kiddie, on
my lap, guess who's back with a brand new rap. And I don't mean rap as in a case
of child molestation."
"For too long influential people in the hip-hop community have stood by Eminem
while he has made a mockery of the culture that inspires and motivates our young
people to achieve and be proud of their black heritage," said Benzino. "I am
proud of both Robert Johnson of BET for pulling the video, and for comedian
Steve Harvey for urging MTV and VH1 to do the same. We as the leaders in the
Hip-Hop community and music industry need to step up and realize that Eminem's
lyrics and actions are tearing down the very culture that people like Doug E.
Fresh, Slick Rick, and Public Enemy have built from the ground up. I urge all
members of hip-hop to come out and support Jackson, one of the most important,
cultural icons of our time. No one should stand behind this mockery and only by
supporting the airplay of "Just Lose It" are we giving Eminem a way out."
The Source is demanding that the song "Just Lose It" be pulled from Eminem's
upcoming album and to apologize publicly to Michael Jackson.
Eminem's album Encore drops November 16th. The Source Awards are scheduled to
air on BET on November 30.

Michael Jackson decries Eminem video
Michael Jackson has launched a war of words against United States rapper Eminem
over his "demeaning and disrespectful" video, which mocks Jackson and shows him
cavorting with children.
Jackson, who is awaiting trial on child molestation charges, wants the rapper's
Just Lose It video, which shows a Jackson look-alike on a bed surrounded by
children, taken off the air.
"Michael is very angry about this video," his spokeswoman Raymone Bain told AFP.
"He feels that Eminem has crossed the line; it's one thing to spoof someone, but
it's another to be so disrespectful.
"He feels it's inappropriate, insensitive, demeaning and disrespectful and his
first priority is to get it pulled from the airwaves," she said.
Ms Bain said Jackson is focusing on persuading television networks to stop
playing the video and is not yet considering legal action against Eminem.
Controversial Eminem's song features provocative lyrics and makes fun on an
early 1990s incident in which Jackson's hair famously caught fire while he was
filming a commercial for soft drink maker Pepsi, showing the Jackson look-alike
with his coiffure ablaze.
At one point in the song, Eminem says: "Come here little kiddie, on my lap.
Guess who's back with a brand new rap? And I don't mean rap, as in a case of
child molestation."
Ms Bain said the Black Entertainment Network had agreed on Tuesday to take the
video off the air and issued an appeal to other US broadcasters to "immediately
follow suit and pull the video".
Jackson, 46, has been accused of sexually abusing a 12-year-old boy after plying
him with alcohol at his Neverland Ranch last year.
The singer pleaded innocent in April to 10 charges including child molestation,
plying a minor with alcohol and conspiracies to kidnap, illegally imprison and
extort his alleged victim or his family.
He is free on $US3 million bail.
He has branded the allegations a "big lie" and accused the boy's family of
attempting to extort money from him.
The next court hearing in the explosive case is set for Thursday in the
California town of Santa Maria, but Jackson was not expected to attend.

Pee Wee Herman to Sue Eminem as Well?
Only days after Michael Jackson threatened to sue Eminem, Paul "Pee Wee Herman"
Reubens is rumored to be preparing a lawsuit of his own. Rubens is one of many
characters spoofed in Slim's "Just Lose it" video. The clip was recently pulled
off BET after Jackson's complaints. Word is that Reubens is scheduled to press
charges later this week."

Gay Porn Star Comes Forward To Clear Lloyd Banks
The man in a gay video that was mistaken for Lloyd Banks has come forward to
clear the rapper's name and effectively end the notion the Banks starred in the
flick.
Ty Lattimore, 28, has appeared in over 25 pornographic movies. He said he was a
fan of Banks and that such a mistake has never happened before.
"I feel bad for him and I think its sad how people are so quick to spread rumors
without all the info," Lattimore told AllHipHop.com. "Its crazy how this has
blown up and how folks have put him out there like that. Now I am catching
heat."
Lattimore said the movie clip circulating is of him and a model named "Mocha" in
a flick called "Bam 2."
Despite a strong denial through his representatives, the rumor continued to have
legs, spreading across internet message boards and chat rooms. Other sources
with AllHipHop.com have validated Lattimore's claims prior to him commenting on
the rumor.
The adult movie actor, who favors the sounds of Shyne, Petey Pablo and Kanye
West, said he came forward to help end the rumor, not to boost his career.
"I am already a porn star for those who watch gay porn," Lattimore said. "I
would hope that if the shoe was on the other foot, someone else would step up
and be a man and handle their business. He is a rapper and that is his thing.
Being a porn star and model is mine. Thanks for letting me try to clear this up,
but some folks will believe what they want to believe anyway."

Lloyd Banks Denies Being In Gay Sex Vid
G-Unit rapper Lloyd Banks has denied that he is the man having gay sex in a
video circulating on the internet.
Sources told AllHipHop.com that the rapper bears a similar likeness to a gay
porn star named Ty Lattimore, the actual culprit in the recording.
The man in the video does not have any of the familiar markings of Banks, namely
his extensive tattoos.
Rampant rumors charge that the video was made when Banks, 22, was a minor. His
reps swatted the thought away.
"This is similar to the Jay-Z video where he is 'slapping' that woman," the rep
said. "It's a short clip that lets people start s**t. The truth is, its not
Banks."
Banks has a very heterosexual video on deck. "Groupie Luv" is an interactive
double DVD that allows the viewer to select the girl he wants to fantasize over.
"It's gonna be great, it will seem like you will be the one having sex," Banks
said in a previous statement.
