I don't dispute accuracies & stuff like that. I feel like Mel Gibson
went about as far as he could go in telling you the story. He
couldn't show you just how brutal the beatings of Christ were (how
his flesh was ripped open & hanging, or a face that'd just had a
bunch of assholes rip the beard from it). It would've been too gory
to associate with the story of Christ, even though it's the truth.
They also couldn't really touch on (& I don't want this to be an
issue
in your minds) the subject of how Judas REALLY died (he WAS hanged,
by OTHERS & disembowelled, too).
Imagine how horrifying it must've been for Judas on the night that
Jesus disclosed to him & all who were present that he was selected to
be the betrayer to fulfill prophecy (about being betrayed w/ a kiss).
The dude was pretty fuckin' dignified about it, in my opinion.
Anyway: Imagine if the dude who was selected to be the beast &
fulfill the last few prophecies now (we already have fulfillment of
the "peace/no peace" & "troops around Israel" prophecies w/ the dumb
shit that's goin' on now) decided he didn't want to be the beast &
refused to walk out his calling. A second choice would hafta' be
employed & that person may not pull it off like the dude who's
supposed to do it...Just a reminder that even a vessel created unto
dishonor must fulfill it's purpose, or we'll all be fucked.
My fear about the movie is that people would've been watchin' it, all
eatin' popcorn, for the entertainment value of it (which, in a sense,
is sacrelege). I know the movie was nowhere near the real agony
Christ experienced, but it still bugged me to watch it. I could only
hope that Mary the whore, who'd been hangin'-out with Him & the
disciples, took some sin upon herself & fucked Him in His sleep
(which would not have been a sin unto Him, since He didn't commit
it). I'd hate to think there was no chance that happened, in light of
the shit retarded ass humans had to put Him thru' to fulfill prophecy.
I do wonder tho', if those dudes knew that Christ could've gotten
weak at any moment & said "Fuck this!! Angels Come!!" & their asses
woulda' been out, would they have made His passing so hard to endure?
