THIS WEEK ON THE CLASSIC METAL SHOW: Iced Earth Vocalist Tim "Ripper"
Owens has a long and fun history with THE CLASSIC METAL SHOW. A
longtime friend of both Neeley and Chris, "Ripper" is one of those
guys they just love to support. It probably doesn't hurt much that
he's one of the most talented vocalists in the history of metal.
Ripper and Iced Earth are back with FRAMING ARMEGEDDON: SOMETHING
WICKED PT. 1; the continuation of guitarist Jon Schaffer's visionary
SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES story. The album is amazing, and must
be heard to understand. It will be heard as part of a New Music
Listening Party, and Owens will be on the show to talk about this
great new album and everything else going on in the Iced Earth camp.

Additionally, at least one of our hardest core fans called into the
show and demanded that we do something to feature the new album from
David Readman...so we listened. Readman is best known as the vocalist
of Pink Cream 69, but he's branched out with a powerful solo album.
We'll do a New Music Listening Party, and Mr. Readman will check in to
talk about it, as well as all things going on in the Pink Cream 69 camp.

Finally, Chris has been talking at great length on the show about a
DVD called WAKING UP DEAD; a DVD he claims should be "must viewing"
for anyone trying to start out in the music business. The video
features the debauchery and eventual physical and mental meltdown of
ex-Saigon Kick/ex-Skid Row drummer Phil Varone. Phil will be by to
talk about the movie, and will further profile his breakdown at the
hands of sex, drugs & Rock N' Roll.
