I'm a rawlings fan too!
I've been following the market, I didint see the one with the bound f
holes, how long ago was that? Was it on ebay? any Pictures?
What I have not seen is one with the rawlings specs. Hes got a neck
with a straight bottom neck and three peice f-holes. I recently
obtained a 1935 with a stright bottomed neck and one peice f-holes.
Its getting it neck reset and refretted, should have it back soon.
Used to be able to see two a year on ebay, but I havent seen any in
2008. The ones with rawlings spec are the ones people are looking
for, it has the smaller body. I think anything olympic made after
1935 is outside the narrow area, but 1932-35 is right in the area it
needs to be for the rawlings fans.
I met Mr Rawlings after a concert in Bloomington Indiana. He's a
very nice guy, he was packing up the epquipment!
