Hey Everyone, I am so glad we have new members joining our music group. This
is really
going to be a fun group and I will have a very one one on one connection with
you all.
When you reply to the messages on this group it goes directly back to me or
Andy. We
have a goal of having 5000 members of this group someday so help us make it
happen.
Tell your friends and family to join and help us out. Tomorrow we are going to
do a very
special blog talk radio broadcast. We are doing an acoustic concert on the show
as we
practice some of our new stuff. You will get to meet some of the band members
on the
web-cam and hear us try out stuff for our California concert this weekend. We
may even
broadcast our concert from California. OK so join us at 6pm MST tomorrow. Here

Here is the e-mail that FlyLady sent out yesterday. Thank you Marla.
Dear Friends,

Each week I want to tell you the story of how I have met the wonderful
people who help me to help you! There are no coincidences in this
world. Each person has been sent to us for a reason and I am so
thankful for each one of them. Our meetings have been God Breezes in
my life!

In March of 2006 when I was in Salt Lake City to speak to the Utah
American Mothers convention I went to do a television show called Good
Things Utah. I had been on the show the day before and they asked me
to come back the next day to record a piece for the next week.

Paddi, Michele, Leanne and I walked into the green room and there we
were greeted by three young men. They thought that the four of us were
the four host of Good Things Utah. They were so cute, but we could
tell that they were nervous. One of the guys had a guitar in his
hand. We asked why they were here for the show. They told us that they
were going to sing live on television. We persuaded them to sing their
song for us first.

It was such a cute song called, "When I was Your Age"; we laughed and
loved the song! Those three young men were the Dodge boy: Eric, Andy
and Ashton. Little did we know at the time they would become part of
our FlyLady family!

That week was very eventful. We started work on our FLY CD with Amy
Lacey. She sang some of her songs for us the evening before the
American Mother's Convention. As the songs evolved there was one that
needed a man's voice. I asked Amy to talk to Eric Dodge to see if he
would sing it on our new CD. She contacted him and immediately he
emailed to ask if this was really for me. When I told him that I
wanted him on the CD he said yes. That summer he recorded the vocals.
In September, I was asked to speak in front of 10,000 people in Salt
Lake City. We decided to debut the FLY CD there. Eric and his parents
came up from St. George and we stood on stage and sang to our hearts
delight! There are no accidents either!

Later that fall I asked Eric to meet us in Colorado Springs for an
Women's Living Expo. He did and the ladies loved him! This is when we
took the show on the road. His brother Andy started to travel with us
and he became our sound man. Ashton helps to book me on events.
In 2007 I helped Eric and Andy produce Eric's second album. All the
songs revolved around the song that Amy wrote for me; Why Not Today!

I listened to the songs we found for the CD about 200 times. I knew
every word to every song. I loved them all! My problem was I could not
figure out what the name of the CD was going to be. I will never
forget the text message I got on a plane from Eric! He decided that
the CD would be called Why Not Today! I cried great big purple
puddles. Last May we went to Nashville and recorded the CD. We had a
great time. In August we debuted Why Not Today at the Highland Fling
in Utah!

This is when I knew that I loved making music. I didn't have to sing
to be a part of enriching the world with beautiful melodies. This year
Amy came to me with the idea of making a children's CD. I asked Andy
and Eric to help me produce it and sing again. These guys are so
talented. Wait till you hear Andy sing! We met in Nashville again with
Amy and her sisters and we made some more wonderful music. They are so
much fun to work with.

Eric sings country music but he can and does sing all types of music.
I know that one day soon he is going to be a big star. He has many
events planned this summer. He may be coming to your area this summer.
Eric has a Myspace page, Yahoo group and a BlogTalkRadio show. I am
glad there are no accidents! Eric and Andy have added a great
dimension to our FlyLady message.

Go join Eric's music group to get the announcements about his
performances this summer. Eric never dreamed that he would be a
singer. It was on September 11th that he knew he wanted to sing!

If you use Yahoo music you can hear him on there.

His CDs are on Amazon too at a real bargain!

We love the Dodge Boys! Please support them whenever you can!
