Wanted to let you all know I'll be co-hosting a Latin jazz show this Friday,
showcasing Latin jazz with the Hammond. It's a weekly
show on Latin jazz from the 1940's - 1960's, this week we're doing another
"organ special" on this music featuring the Hammond. This
show was well received when we did it two years ago, and we've put it together
again.

Naturally there'll be some Ethel Smith, along with Wild Bill Davis, Shirley
Scott (w/the Latin Jazz Quintet), Jackie Davis, and
Panamanian organists Lucho Azcarraga, and Avelino Munoz.

The show airs this Friday December 5, from 9:00 - 10:30 PM. WPFW is at 89.3 FM
in Washington, DC - and you can tune in on-line
at www.wpfw.org.
