I recently read in the Fall 1969 issue of The Hammond Times, in the
article "A Perfect Match... Ethel Smith and the Hammond," that Ethel
acted in a CBS-TV play called "Gilbert," "about a mother and her
young, disorganized son."

The article also mentioned a couple of commercials she'd done, one for
Ocean Spray Cranberry and another done with Soupy Sales and Gene Wood.

I've tried to find refernce to these appearances on the web, but have
met with no success. Does anyone have any knowledge of these later
performances they'd be willing to share?
