Hi.
In other words, you're now placing your body at right angle with the
bass, but you didn't change your plucking technique?
I pluck with the side of the first finger, and the bass is placed
about the same way I was holding an acoustic.
I get a very meaty sound, no unwanted tones, and a "normal" placement
of the instrument.

Francois, After I read your email I tried the technique you describe (and recorded it comparing it to my other technique). It really helped and sounds good....
