The Euterpe Music Network seeks to foster initiatives within Champaign County, Illinois, bringing people together to cultivate a vibrant, professional environment for musicians and music professionals within the community.

Euterpe (yoo-TER-pee, which rhymes with slurpee) is the Greek Muse of music and lyric poetry. The Founding Members of the Euterpe Music Network chose that name as it signified what they wanted the network to represent—a positive force that will energize, inspire and protect the local music scene, musicians, professionals and supporters.

The Euterpe Music network exists to strengthen the local music scene by organizing open dialogue, educational workshops, and annual music conferences. With your participation, our combined energies can advance the network and foster brainstorming, information sharing and a broader support for live music in the community.
