A mailing list ONLY for sending/receiving open invitations to participate in experimental music projects events. Events here usually pertain to noise music, experimental electronic music, free-improvisation, contemporary classical, avant-jazz, electro-acoustic, etc. This list is not directly involved with rock'n'roll, noise pop, electronic dance music, jam bands, drum circles or heavy metal.

Here you can find out about participating in events such as guided improvisation orchestras, collaborative composition ideas, remix projects, open-invite experimental music festivals, calls for proposals, or even just odd musicians looking for collaborators.

This list will not include discussion or gig-spams (unless they are invitations to perform in said shows). It's built specifically for people who want to participate in their "scene", but don't want to read discussions or hear about other people's shows. (Not to say that's bad, but this list hopes to include members who don't usually like email lists.) Anyone can post an invite, but all messages are moderated to keep it on topic. All responses are sent directly to the poster (not the group). This group was started in the San Francisco Bay Area, but members and invitations from elsewhere are welcome.
