A friend of mine, the avant-rapper Bizzart is coming to town for a 21 Grand
show on July 21. For part of his set, I'm hoping to assemble a backup band
of local improvers. Ideally, we'd come up with a couple of song frameworks
rock-lotto style for him to freestyle to. (IE: have 1 or 2 practice sessions
to create loose frameworks.)

I'm looking for someone who is not averse to playing 4/4 hip hop beats for
this set. Of course, you'd be encouraged to work in some prepared drum
sounds or other unusual ideas into that frame work, but he should have
something to rap to. It doesn't *always* have to be snare on 2 and 4, but
there should be a sense of flow. These must be live drums - no programs! Any
takers?
