There will be two more Ivy Room Improv/Experimental Hootenanny events
this year. One on Mon Oct 27th and another on Mon Nov 24th.

I am looking to book one featured act (30-40 min set) and three
'curators' for 20 min. sets for each date.

The idea behind the monthly Experimental/Improv Hootenany is to create
a seamless night of outside music in a cozy place with no cover where
people can chill, chat, get a decent cocktail, listen to the music and
perhaps try out a collaboration. Several different music scenes will
come together to create some crazy noise and while no particular music
style is preferred over the other, the emphasis is on improvisation,
collaboration and experimental music.

Each curator is responsible for bringing or engaging artists in the
room to make whatever music they'd like during their 20 mins. It's fun
and sometimes gets pretty crazy.

There is a small honorarium in it for the featured act and drinks are
made available to all the performers by our man behind the bar, Mr.
Eric Leppo.
