Extra Virgin Mary was formed in 2000 by deerfrance and Paul Chapin. deerfrance writes and sings the songs and plays electric and acoustic guitar. Paul plays drums and bass.

Their debut CD "Blest" is available from Moon Caravan Records.

As of Spring 2004 Extra Virgin Mary has commenced live full-band gigs. For gigs deerfrance and Paul have been joined by Dee Pop on drums, Mark Suall on guitar and Jane Gilday on keyboards and mandolin.
