easyjet is cheap as chips)
Please email gary_ash@y... for an audition.
Hi,
I was up in Newcastle when Bucks Fizz whipped off
their skirts; very Eurovision!
Nik was great, I haven't seen him live and I was
delighted he gave it all on his electric guitar. I
really hope I'll have the opportunity to see a full
Nik gig in the future.
I agree, Living in a Box were slightly weather-beaten,
but were hugely entertaining to watch; hehehehe.
I thought Limahl was good, bit tricky being first act,
but impressed me. I swear that guy can't be a day
older than 25!

Hello all!
I'm Dusty and I've just joined this group. It's great to be in the
company of people with the best taste music.
I've loved Nik since the 80's and even dressed like him, remember the
snood and the tail shirt with one side tucked in?! Also, much to my
Dad's disppointment, I had my beautiful waist length, thick, glossy
hair cut into Nik's short spiky style - only to see a new publicity
shot in Smash Hits the very next day of Nik sporting a longer
floppier version, ho hum.
I'm off to Wembley on Thursday to see Nik and I really can't wait
So that's a brief history of me, just wanted to say hi to you all
Look forward to chatting with you soon xx
My cheesiest concert was actually Michael Jackson. This is back during his
History Tour ['96] when he visited NZ for the first, and last, time. I do
like Jackson's older music, so I mostly enjoyed the concert. It was more
that is was the 'white' Michael and he kept telling the audience how much he
loved them between songs.

This question popped into my mind as I found myself singing along to
Boney M on the way home. Shamefully, I've seen them not once but
TWICE! Once in Germany and once in Toronto :-P Luckily in Germany -
they weren't the band I went to see.. they had a summer festival that
featured Alphaville (who I really went to see) but the evening closed
with Boney M.

hi there all
my favorite video as to don quixote it as just a fantastic opening
my favorite record as to be somebody loves you
but more important i need to find a copy of the original iwltsgdom
video
and finally what i would like to see is when the new compilation
album comes out from universal is a dvd of all the videos
and to end on a dissapointing note why is there only 1 nik kershaw
track on the live aid dvd when he did a 3 song set
thanks all hope to hear from you all soon
stubydoouk
Wide Boy, without a doubt! The colors, the story, the coordinated
performances. Nik is great in it. Smartly done, and just tongue-in-cheek
enough. Have loved that one since '85! It's one of my all-time favorite
videos ... they don't make them like that anymore ... :-(
Wish I could find it on tape or DVD somewhere -- all I have is a RealPlayer
file from one of the Nik fan sites.
Thanks for the question,
Maria
>> I can't wait to hear the answers :) I'll share my favorite in a bit..
Of the two I have been able to find [WIBG and The Riddle] is has to be The
Riddle. While WIBG tells the sad story of a space man trapped on earth [or
so it seems] the video for The Riddle lives up to the eclectic nature of the
song itself.
For the longest time, all I had seen of The Riddle was the first 60 seconds
or so [found it on a website somewhere] and I could see that the rest of it
was going to be pretty damn kewl. I finally managed to source the entire
clip about a year back, and I wasn't disappointed.

Andrew,
I knew about the DVD way back but didn't know they would include Nik
on it. I was happy when my fiance got it and saw Nik's name! We
haven't had a chance to see the whole thing through (I think it is 17
hours long) but I can give you a review once I see it.
Did you see LIVE AID on TV back in 1985? It was such an exciting
day.. I think it started at 7am and ended around midnight. Nik was
one of the first people to go on.. He was a walking fashion blunder
(He looked soooo silly, but I kept telling myself - it was 1985..
everyone looked like that!) BUT he sounded good :) I just wish they
included the other songs he sung.. Luckily I still have my VHS tapes
of the day..

Well, it was nice to find out about the Band Aid DVD Set - after it had come
out. Perhaps if people can post about these things when they first find out
about them so that those of us in smaller countries can start haranging out
local stores to get them in ;)
Is someone who has the DVD able to write up a review on it. I'm interested
in picking it up, but will probably have to wait for a local store to order
it in :(
