Speaking of Engine I've always wondering something...
I'm a big fan of the first Engine album, not so much
the second, and I was wondering what everyone would
think about me just saying it sounds almost EXACTLY
like an Deftones album with SLIGHT touches of more
melody--and by slight, I mean barely. hehe. I'm a
huge old school Deftones fan and when I heard this
album the reason I loved it was because it continued
carrying the torch of the old Deftones albums. I've
never seen a review mention it and when I read the
interview with Ray and saw him mention it, I was
relieved to realize I wasn't going insane:) Anyone
else here a Deftones fan? The newer stuff I could do
without--though about half of White Pony is pretty
damn great... but the S/T disc--hrmm, a lot more
misses than hits on there.

Peace and Love,

RaY

I won't let this tear me out of the ground
I will defy the culture that rips me out
And tears me down
I will defy your culture and make this real
We will not die just to fade
Into the air like memories
We will not die
If we live in hearts we leave behind
Then we will never die
And you can't replace them
With the ones you've lost
We're escaping all of your securities
