It’s High Summer in FiddleSticksVille, and we’re hoping to see all our
friends at one of our many upcoming shows. Please come and enjoy! Special
thanks to all who came and made our CD release party such a fun event. If
you couldn’t make to our CD concert, there are plenty of chances this summer
to mix in a little FiddleSticking with your waterskiing, gardening,
swimming, hiking, summer reading, and whatever else you do during these
wonderful long summer days.


PROVO:
Saturday, July 3 -- 4 to 5pm
Provo Freedom Festival
Courthouse Stage
Center Street and University Ave
Provo UT

The Provo Freedom Festival is a three-day extravaganza, including three days
of excellent, FREE, local music at the Courthouse Stage. We're playing
Saturday afternoon, under the tent at the courthouse stage (just East of
University Ave on Center Street). There are craft and food vendors, kids
activities, and lots of fun stuff. Come enjoy the show! It's free!


PROVO
Saturday, July 3 -- 1 to 2pm
Democratic 4th of July Picnic
Pioneer Park
5th West and Center Street
Provo UT

The Utah County Democratic Party's annual summer family picnic is at the
historic Provo Pioneer Park this year. It goes from around 11 (right after
the parade) to 3pm or so. We're playing from 1 to 2. Bring your family,
friends and picnic lunch, and there will be lots of music and games, not to
mention the Democratic candidates up for office this year.


OREM:
Wednesday, July 7 -- 7 to 8pm
Orem Library Summer Concert

Libraries are best in the summer: all that lazy free time, books to read,
and such great air conditioning! Plus FiddleSticks will be playing a summer
concert. Come enjoy this annual show at the wonderful Orem children's

Payson Scottish Festival

For the first time, the Payson Scottish Festival starts Friday evening!
We’re happy to head up the music and dance show Friday night at the
Bandstand. This is one of our longest continuous FiddleSticks traditions,
and one of our most enjoyable shows. Payson could be Utah's little City
that time forgot, but everyone remembers it each July for the Payson

Days of '47 Culture Fest

This year's culture fest at the Gallivan Center will be better than ever.
Be prepared to enjoy lively music, festive dancing, colorful costumes,
unique arts and crafts, and delicious food at this year’s Culture Fest.
Parking downtown is free, and just before our show, from 1:00 to 4:00 the
Children’s Museum will be on hand with free take home crafts and face
painting. There will be crafts, all kinds of music, and storytellers with

This year the Utah County Fair will again be at wonderful Thanksgiving Point
from July 28th to July 31st! FiddleSticks will be playing on Friday, the
30th at 6pm, so come enjoy the spectacle. Besides music, there’s lots more
going on: exhibit booths, food vendors, carnival rides & midway, games, 4-H

series, on August 6 and August 20, both shows at the spectacular main
Waterfall Amphitheater in the gardens. If you haven’t seen that yet, you’re
missing a major Utah Valley item! The Gardens themselves are a wonderful
refuge of color and peace. Come and see the different displays and

FiddleSticks is a family musical group that performs folk songs and
traditional tunes from the Celtic lands, from England, and from America. The
band is made up of three young sisters, Rebecca, Kathryn, and Elizabeth
Davis, and their father Mark. Featured instruments include fiddle, flutes,
cello, bodhran (Irish drum), guitar and vocals -- plus dulcimer, bass, and
