What a hot August -- cool of with some cool Celtic tunes.

SALT LAKE:
Friday, August 10 - 7:30pm
Sunstone Banquet

The public is invited to the closing banquet, which will honor Elbert
Peck and look back over his 15 years at Sunstone. We'll be playing before
and during the banquet. Tickets are $30.


IDAHO FALLS:

The Arts Council sponsors concerts all summer long, and it's free. Come

One of the best storytelling festivals in America, the Timpanogos
festival brings in storytellers from around the world. We'll be playing at
4pm on Friday, and noon on Saturday. Don't miss it!


FiddleSticks is a family musical group that performs folk songs and
traditional tunes from the Celtic lands, from England, and from America. The
band is made up of three young sisters, Rebecca, Kathryn, and Elizabeth
Davis, and their father Mark. Featured instruments include fiddle, flutes,
cello, bodhran (Irish drum), guitar and vocals. (Check out our web page at

FiddleSticks have three recordings in print: The Sampler (1998), Playing
Favorites (1999), and Cold Fusion (2000). Watch for the new CD "Time and
Again", due out in fall 2001. CDs are available at all performances, in
Utah bookstores, online at www.fiddle-sticks.com, or by mail order ($15 for
CDs, $10 for cassettes).
