Happy December FiddleSticks Fans! Here's info about our new CD, and a list
of our dozen or so December performances follows!

TIME AND AGAIN:
"Time and Again," the much awaited fourth FiddleSticks CD, is at last here,
and you're invited to celebrate with us at our CD Release Party and Concert!

Where and When? Saturday, December 8, 7:30 to 10:00pm, at the Provo Theater
Company, 105 East 100 North, in downtown Provo. There's plenty of parking
right next door. Please come any time during the evening -- we'll be
presenting short mini-concert sets and taking lots of breaks to enjoy the
potluck snacks, meet our fans, and of course, sell lots of CDs.

Admission will be a mere $2, and this will be refunded as credit against
purchase of the CD. So please come, one and all!

"Time and Again" includes traditional as well as newly written Celtic tunes
and songs. Besides our core instrumentation of fiddle, Irish whistles and
flutes, cello, guitar, voice and bodhran (Irish drum), the CD features the
addition of 6 string fretless bass and a full drum kit on some tunes. Both
drum set and bass will be at the CD release concert, so you won't want to
miss.

"Time and Again" is cutting-edge FiddleSticks. The CD's already getting very
enthusiastic reviews. See you at the CD release party. (Or you can order

Our annual Orem City holiday concert in the children's library. Bring
the kids, check out some Christmas books, and enjoy the music!

Friday, December 7, 8-9 pm
Barnes & Noble Café
330 E 1300 S, Orem
B&N creates an old town feeling with their cozy cafe, and you can
almost forget you're in a strip-mall in Orem! Get a mug of hot chocolate
and get your book-shopping done early.

Sunday, December 9, 6:30pm
Franciscan Christmas Fireside
172 N 500 W, Provo
The Franciscan was for decades the St. Francis church, and it retains
some much of its elegance as it tries to evolve into a community arts
center. We'll be sharing the stage with Cherie Call, Mark Geslison, and the
BYU Folk Ensemble.

Tuesday, December 11, 7-9pm
House Concert at Charlotte England's
1775 Andrus Lane, Provo
The Englands have brought music to their friends and neighbors for
years, and we're proud to return for our fifth Christmas house concert at
the Englands. The concert this year will be specially in honor of Gene
England, whose passing earlier this year was a tragic loss. Come and help
us enjoy again the blessing of music at the England's.

Tues & Thur, December 18 & 20, 6-9pm
Historic Deseret Village

The mythical historic village of Deseret at This Is the Place Monument
keeps expanding and getting better every year. Come enjoy the sleigh rides,
hot wassail, and historic reenactments.

Wednesday, December, 26 7-10pm
Boxing Day Potluck Party & Concert
647 N 1280 E, Orem
A Boxing Day tradition for seven years now, the FiddleSticks-Davis
family welcomes friends to their home for a concert, jam, and pot-luck
party. Bring those leftover fruitcakes and come party chez nous.

Friday, December 28, 6-8pm
TSSA Artist Showcase Concert
Keith Jorgensens, 650 S State, Orem
TSSA, the Timpanogos Singer Songwriter Alliance, sponsors monthly
showcases of local Utah Valley performers. December is our turn! Come
relax in the Keith Jorgensen's recital hall, and enjoy the tunes. Also
performing will be Dave and Carla Eskelsen.

Monday, December 31, 7-8pm
Salt Lake City First Night Festival
Crossroads Plaza Main Stage
First Night is Salt Lake's family-friendly, booze-free street party to
welcome in the New Year. There's non-stop music and entertainment in dozens
of venues. Come find us early and stay for the duration!

Monday, December 31, 10-11pm
Provo First Night Festival
Community Church, 175 N University
Provo's First Night is growing in popularity and offers concerts and
performances for the whole family. See you there!

FiddleSticks is a family musical group that performs folk songs and
traditional tunes from the Celtic lands, from England, and from America. The
band is made up of three young sisters, Rebecca, Kathryn, and Elizabeth
Davis, and their father Mark. Featured instruments include fiddle, flutes,
