Hi FiddleSticks folk and friends,

For our friends in Idaho and Northern Utah, we hope to see you this Friday,
Midsummers Eve, the shortest night of the year, at the festivities in Lava
Hot Springs. Details below!

We're also playing 3 public concerts in the San Francisco Bay Area next

IDAHO:

Somerfield Midsummer's Eve Bardic Festival

Somerfield Manor is an interactive medieval living history farm, designed to
show you what life was like in Europe 700 years ago. The Midsummer's Eve
Bardic Festival features storytelling, chivalry, singing, dancing, silly
costumes, medieval refreshments. Not to mention FiddleSticks' Celtic music,
with roots in ancient Europe. Come slay a dragon, rescue a maiden, or
otherwise take part. Plus, at midnight, if you jump over the bardic bonfire
with your true love, you are guaranteed a year of happiness! Admission $5.

Directions: From I-15 in southern Idaho, take exit 47, for McCammon Rd.
Turn east on Hiway 30, proceed 9 miles, than turn south (left) on Maughan

The Provo Freedom Festival is a three-day extravaganza, including three days
of excellent, FREE, local music at the Courthouse Stage. We're playing
Friday evening, right before Colors and Ryan Shupe & the Rubberband, so come

Payson Scottish Festival

Payson could be Utah¡¯s little City that time forgot, but everyone remembers
it each July for the Payson Scottish Festival. It¡¯s free, it¡¯s fun,
there¡¯s music all day, plus pipe band competitions, Scottish athletics,
lots of crafts and Clan booths. Don¡¯t miss it!

The mythical historic village of Deseret at This Is the Place Monument
keeps expanding and getting better every year. We¡¯ll be playing out front,
as part of a day-long cultural celebration. Come enjoy this walk back in

FiddleSticks is a family musical group that performs folk songs and
traditional tunes from the Celtic lands, from England, and from America. The
band is made up of three young sisters, Rebecca, Kathryn, and Elizabeth
Davis, and their father Mark. Featured instruments include fiddle, flutes,
cello, bodhran (Irish drum), guitar and vocals -- plus dulcimer, bass, and
