Timpanogos Intimate Concert Series

FiddleSticks will open for Christine Kane, an accomplished nationally
touring singer songwriter. Christine was named one of the top three college
performers by Campus Activities Today magazine. She was one of the winners
of the Merlefest Songwriting contest in 2000. She has headlined at
Chattanooga's Riverbend Festival, Asheville's Bele Chere Festival, and
Madison's Folk Festival. She has been a showcase performer at the legendary
Philadelphia Folk Festival. She opened for the Beach Boys during their
annual summer rounds across the country; and she regularly performs with
nationally touring acts, including Nanci Griffith, Shawn Colvin, Los Lobos,
Greg Brown, and Rosanne Cash.

"Celtic Stew" Music Festival

The first annual Salt Lake City Celtic Music Festival – a.k.a. Celtic Stew –
brings together some of the most exciting and diverse Celtic musicians in
an amazing 7-hour event. Also featured at the festival will be Stone
Circle, Idlewild, Donegal House Band, Shanahy, Inish, Last Night's Fun, and
Yankee Clipper. The event starts at 6:00pm; FiddleSticks will be playing at
about 7:30. Admission is $12 (for 5 bands!). If you like Celtic music,

Read Leaf Fridays Music Series
Read Leaf Bookstore

The wonderful people at the Read Leaf independent bookstore sponsor live
music every Friday night. This is the series you just saw featured on the
front page of the Daily Herald entertainment section. Come browse the
shelves, enjoy the music, support one of the few independent non-chain
bookstores still standing, and enjoy some St. Patrick's season music live
and in person! Free!

Barnes & Noble, once the epitome of the bookstore music café, has cut down
their series to only four events per year. So here's your chance!
FiddleSticks will be appearing with the acoustic band "Greenville." Come
try out their frothy hot chocolate and enjoy the tunes. Admission free.

Acoustic Music Show
Dave Eaton, Jason Pyles, and FiddleSticks

FiddleSticks will join local energetic acoustic singer-songwriters Dave
Eaton and Jason Pyles for a night of original acoustic music. Dave's music
is aptly classified as "electric folk," his tunes are hip and danceable with
a unique earthy quality. Jason's element is solo acoustic performance.
He's a lively vocalist, guitarist and pianist. His songs are unique with a
modern folk flavor, and a kind of poignant, universal, take-home message.

HELP International Benefit Concert

HELP International is a volunteer development group that organizes projects
in Guatemala and other places to fight poverty by teaching English,
volunteering in orphanages, painting schools, setting up microcredit, etc.
(Check out the website, http://help-international.org.) FiddleSticks is
glad to participate with this benefit concert: your admission donation and
all proceeds will go to the fundraiser: plus a portion of all CD sales for
the night will also go to the cause.
