FiddleSticks will join local energetic acoustic singer-songwriters Dave
Eaton and Jason Pyles for a night of original acoustic music. Dave's music
is aptly classified as "electric folk," his tunes are hip and danceable with
a unique earthy quality. Jason's element is solo acoustic performance.
He's a lively vocalist, guitarist and pianist. His songs are unique with a
modern folk flavor, and a kind of poignant, universal, take-home message. $3
at the door. Bring a pillow!

HELP International Benefit Concert

HELP International is a volunteer development group that organizes projects
in Guatemala, Salvador, Bolivia and Brazil to fight poverty by teaching
English, volunteering in orphanages, painting schools, setting up
microcredit, etc. (Check out the website, http://help-international.org.)
FiddleSticks is glad to participate with this benefit concert: your
admission donation and all proceeds will go to the fundraiser: plus a
portion of all CD sales for the night will also go to the cause.

One of our favorite people, Bonnie Whitaker, created and for 30 years has
operated The Flower Basket, a funky flower and gift shop with class. Join
her and her friends in an anniversary celebration, Thursday, Friday and
Saturday, April 10-12. Her shop was the first retailer to offer
FiddleSticks CDs way back in 1998, and she's been a great fan ever since.
We'll be playing on the porch on Friday afternoon. Come visit! Call Bonnie

BYU graduating seniors, and their family and friends, whoop it up at this
annual event. FiddleSticks will be on stage to fire things up, right after
Comedy Sportz and before the International Folk Dance Team finishes off the
night. All BYU seniors and friends are invited! FREE for all graduates and

Utah PTA Reflections Honor Night

FiddleSticks fiddler Katie Davis entered her composition "Savannah" in the
Utah PTA "Reflections" contest, and won first place in the School, District,
Region, and State levels. The song has now been sent on to represent Utah
in the National Reflections Competition. FiddleSticks fans will recognize
this composition from the most recent FiddleSticks CD, "The Cat and the
Fiddle," where Savannah appears as Track 12. Katie will be performing her
composition with the band at the Honor Night celebration. Friends are
invited to come clap along!

St George Art Festival

St George, Utah
St George, the oasis in Utah's south-west redrock country, puts on the St
George Art Festival each Friday and Saturday of Easter weekend. The Festival
features visual art and music from all over the United States, and draws
thousands of visitors from throughout the Mountain West. Events include food
booths, entertainment and activities for children. FiddleSticks will be

Every Thursday they present great local music, and on May-Day 2003 it will
be FiddleSticks on stage. The Junction is located just south of the
