Hi everybody,

I was wondering if anyone has tried to figure out (the intro of)
Apollo's Frock. The attempt that is already in the files section
sounds really good, but it is only the very beginning.
I'd love to be able to play the whole song.

Thanx
Harmen

i just bought an mp3 player, so i was putting all my cd's on my
computer for transfer. and i started listening to Scarlet's Hidden
Treasures again, and I must say that Apollo's Frock is one of the
most beautiful songs, if you get past that long intro. It's nice,
but three minutes is a little too long. I was sad to see there's
only a little bit of the song on here. Is there a midi file
anywhere? I looked, but couldn't find one. I'd love to play the
song, or even just the chorus, the part with the guitar. And I'm not
gifted enough to figure it out by myself. So if anyone can help, I'd
appreciate it much!!

Amy :)

Hello! I'm looking for music sheet of Tori's Song: "Apollo's Frock". I
mean an amazing intro to this song (the version from "Scarlet's Hidden
Tresaures"). I was looking everywhere, but I couldn't find it. I even
tried to transcribe this song by myself but unfortunetly I wasn't
able. I would be very greatfull if you want to help me find the music
sheet or midi file of this song. Thank You!!
Tom

Hi everyone

I have just posted the first page and a bit of my transcription of
Apollo's Frock. I'm finding it fiendishly difficult, especially the
timing. So is there anyone out there who can help.

Best wishes

Dear Sonny

I've just posted my initial effort of Apollo's Frock and wondered if
you would be willing to share yours with me if you do manage to have a
go at it?

Best wishes

I've just tweaked it slightly. I do think that 'Scarlet's Little
Treasures' is Tori at her best especially 'Ruby', 'Apollo's Frock'
& 'Indian Summer'. Is there anybody out there who would be willing to
figure out 'Indian Summer'?

Best wishes

Yes, I know that there is a part of this song. I'm very greatfull for
your help Bonniemoorhen;) I'm looking a full transcription, I mean the
intro to this song. So I decide to leave a massage again. Maybe there
are people who would like to try to continue your work and finish it.
I realise how hard is to transcribe that song. But every help I think
makes us both happy:)
Regards!

Im entering this discussion late but my understanding has been that
you would require 4 hands to play the intro of apollos frock.

The recording was layered with two different parts wasnt it?

which explains why tori doesnt play the intro, because she isnt an
octopus.

LOL That is great. I can tell by ear that it is two hands, but you just
need some good coordination.

Nope, it may be a layered take, but it is feasible to play it with both hands. I am horrible at transcribing so I don't even try, but I can tell that it is fairly simple as some of her songs go. My thought was that the reason she does not do the intro live is because the intro was off the cuff and she does not remember it.

She could soon learn it again if she so wished.  One of the difficulties in transcribing the intro is the complicated time signature.  I can't work it out at all.
