Firefilk is an international brand of music written by fans of Joss Whedon's Firefly and Serenity 'verse. Some of it is funny, some serious, some completely original, and some covers of already established music from the series. All of it showing a love of the universe that brought Browncoats (Firefly/Serenity fans)from around the world together into one great community. Whether you're a Browncoat or just a fan of Filk, you will love this music. It is evident in the music that there is a true love of the source material by the talent behind it. This site is meant to be a central hubb for discussion, finding, and (ideally) the promotion of new FireFilk. As many features as possible are accessable to the public, but many require membership. That's easy to do though, and requires no commitment on your part. Be sure to visit the files section for some of the shorter songs (limited space and file size limits from the folks at Yahoo limits the songs that can be hosted here), and the links section contains many more song downloads as well as some great related sites. Also, definately make sure to take part in the discussion. Any members are welcome to join in and start new topics. There may occasionally even be polls and databases pop up, so even if this isn't exactly the most spectacular of the fansites you visit, there will still be reason enough to stick around and join us.
