Here's the news:

No jamming since November, but Arnie is always writing new songs for
the band. Some songs are instrumentals others are with vocals (for
Alvin, who else?).

Next year, I assure you guys, the Firuz sound will be different.

Something went wrong with the band's plan to record its music and
release it independently within this year. The band will try next
year. However, if you really want to hear the good,the wow,the
yaaaaks, raw, ugly and early version of Firuz, e-mail me and I will
let you hear some of the band's demo tapes.You will hear how ALVIN
enhanced the band's sound.

Next year the band might perform in a show from an independent
production called ITIM�. (Tentatively it will be February or
earlier.)

This is the world of rock and roll; patience and gratitude will
sustain the dream.Mabuhay ang Filipino local rock bands.I don't call
them Pinoy rock,"Filrockers"is better.FIRUZ is a Filrocker!

From Cubao, take SSS village (jeep or FX), then drop off at Meralco (drivers know this) which is just in front of 711 (tama ba pareng sky kamote? hehehe)...then walking distance from there to Bloo Gum (formerly known as Pull-over).

To answer your questions: YES, we are promoting the band for the sole purpose of our LOVE for music. I think that's just about it.

songs too.. have you heard of the guitarist named Michael Angelo
Batio..He didnt blossomed in the Philippines but he is a great
guitarist...He plays with a double guitar, with a shape of a "V", i
have a video of him and his fast fingers...
can i ask permission to the moderator for me to upload the video file?
