So what has everyone been up to this holiday?

I was away 'Sooth' to work for the first week, then I ran some music
wokshops in Poolewe, then I went to Lewis on a harp course where I
played my flute with Wendy Stewart - my favourite harper of the
moment!! Couldn't believe that I was playing with her! She's played
with everyone and was part of the band Ceolbeg.

Came back on a high, and started practising for last weeks concert.
Programme was:

Bach - Brandenburg No 4 1st Mvt.
(then somebody sang)
Traumerei for Flute Quartet
Then I played Harp
Faure Fantasie (another flautist)
then somebody sang
Brahms Hungarian Dance No 7 for Violin
Panis Angelicus with violin
Bach Unaccompanied Sonata in a minor (another flute player)
Doppler - Andante and Rondo
Harp again!
Someone sang again!!
Then the Flute Quartet finished with Gossec's Tambourin and then a
cracking wee arrangement of the Flight of The Bumble Bee!

So now that I have recovered from all that I am getting back into
the swing of things.
