No, looks like a new invention. The scale could be tidied up a bit
by the sound of it, but it might do for eastern style faking! I'm
intrigued by the placement of the exhaust-pipe. Does this mean I can
balance the hissing in my right ear from playing too much piccolo in
the past, with hissing in my left from playing ring flute?

Nice idea. If they're cheap, I want one!
