Re: Advice for a flute pilgrimage?

OK OK Hello!!

Been a while since I logged on here...

I'm Morven from the North East Scotland. I had private flute lessons
in my home town for about 8 years and then when I left school I
didn't want to go straight to uni and instead I went to seek work in
Germany.

It was luck that I found a family willing to host me for 10 months.
I worked as an aupair and they rewarded me with music lessons. I was
actually taught by an American (Los Angeles man). He himself has had
lessons from James Galway and I forget the name of the other guy...

Yes so in that one year because I had lots if time to practise I
improved quite a piece.

The teacher I had plays in the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra
which coincidentally is twinned with the Symphony orchestra in Lyon,
France which is where I am this year as language assistant...

So that's my story

Good Luck

M x

If you're in The Hague, I'll give you a lesson in subcontrabass playing (bring an oxygen mask and a brown paper bag!). Either that, or you can 'pretend' to be...
