Interesting Flute - with a history as well.

Does anyone have any stories to tell about their flutes?

Does anyone here play on an open G#? I tried a friend's and it felt
much more natural than I thought it would. James Galway plays on a
closed G# but he 'vents' the G# key when he plays and A. (Read this
somewhere - not sure of the authenticity!) I tried it and it does work!
