Hi there Tia,
I am experiencing a similar problem with the blend pot on my Imperial
6 as well, i.e, there is a significant drop-off in gain when the blend
pot is in the center-detent position. However, this problem only
manifests itself when my coil-tap switch is in the "humbucking" mode.
Initially, I didn't suspect the blend-bot as being the root cause of
this problem because it worked fine for well over a year in both
"humbucking" and "single-coil" modes. But, I'm not too sure now, after
reading your email.
I'm awaiting a response from Fodera on the issue, so hopefully, we'll
get to the bottom of this.
On a separate note, I'm also toying with the idea of installing an
Audere 3ZB preamp in place of the Pope, should the aforementioned
problem remain unresolved.
Good luck!
Beebebop,
Beijing.
