Hello, anybody out there who knows how to remove a wooden ramp between the
pickups without damaging the top ? The ramp on my Monarch 4 has been factory
applied and I don't like it any more ...
Any help would be highly appreciated.
PS: I live in germany and so there is no way to involve Vinnie personally...
I would contact Fodera or I can for you Im one of there dealers
www.basssouthwest.com then I would have someone in your area remove it

Ask Joey!
maybe Julian Michel knows something too: julianmichel@... or station
music the German fodera distributor
Hartmut
Aber ehrlich gesagt, ich glaube die Rampen sind nur mit doppelseitigem
Klebeband befestigt und leicht ablösbar.

Ramps are usually attached using removable double sided tape.
I have made ramps for all of my Foderas and used removable double sided tape
to attach it. I have also sold a lot of Foderas with ramps and they all had
double sided tape on them. All you have to do is remove the strings and
pull the ramp out. It might seem that it is stuck on the top but it can be
removed. Try to find the largest gap/open space between the ramp and top
and start from there.

Thanks for your helpful posts. Indeed the ramp has been fixed with a thin tape
and I had no problems to remove it after I took off the strings and the
pickups....
