The Folk Bloke runs acoustic music sessions at pubs and occasionally other venues in Berkshire (England) and surrounding counties including Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and Hampshire.

All are welcome to attend whether to sing, to play or just to listen. Unless otherwise stated all events are free and start between 8:30pm and 9pm.

Mike, the Folk Bloke, sings a variety of traditional and modern songs, accompanying himself on guitar or banjo. Folk Bloke Sessions are often co-hosted by either Andy O (vocals, guitar and mandolin) or Andy S (Accordion). All styles of music can be performed and heard at these sessions: British and American folk, blues, rock, comedy, shanties and many more.

At some venues you are now able to enjoy the music of "Tree Fellers": Mike T (The Folk Bloke - guitar and vocals), Andy S (accordion) and Paul H (whistle).
