I'm really not worried about it. I don't need the money, so no need
to feel bad for me ;)

I've got a Buchla 200e on the way, and am building a modcan and
eurorack system on the side. I also have way too much gear and am
trying to slim down and get rid of the stuff I don't use anymore. I
figure my 777 would be of more use to someone else. I'm not looking
to make a huge profit on it.

I really can't say I've seen one go for anywhere near twice that... though I do know some were selling for around $1800 as recently as a few months ago. ...
