Framedrummer is a forum for professional, amateur, and hobbyist players to engage with each other in discussing this ancient and global family of percussion instruments. Topics range widely to include culture, technique, events, music, construction, repair...the range is vast.

The group includes players, students, builders, designers, teachers and ethnomusicologists; those with a vast depth of knowledge and those with a passing interest, those who contribute and those who simply read and digest. Framedrummer is a true global community.
