Welcome to the Garnet Amps eGroup, where you'll find questions, answers and opinions on gear by the Garnet Amplifier Company. These vintage tube amps and effects were conceived, designed, and built by "Gar" Gillies in Winnipeg, Canada, from the sixties through the eighties. From the tiny Gnome combo to the signature Herzog overdrive to the powerhouse BTO head, these amps delivered classic yet unique tube tone.
