Thomas Chapin was a brilliant jazz saxophonist and flutist, who died 9 years ago of leukemia. During the last year of his life, his health prevented him from making major concerts (e.g., the Monterey Jazz Festival) that would have made him a star.  

 

If any of you can forward this to others who can help, such as jazz DJs who could dedicate part of their shows to playing Chapin’s music, I would greatly appreciate it. He was one of the very best sax saxophonists of the 1980s and 1990s, and one of the freshest musical voices of his time.
