I am still waiting to download the single "For Your Entertainment" because I
haven't heard but about 15 seconds of it so far. Looking to see if Miss GaGa
goes #1 on your chart soon and am amazed at the 7 notch leap for "3". I also
like the #14 debut for Happy as well. She's up to #6 on my chart. I guess I
will have to look for this remix as well. I like "Russian Roulette" but I am
having a wait and see attitude till I listen to it more. I have heard the
new cd is very "dark". I will just listen to "Te Amo" by Rihanna for now. It
s currently at #43 on my chart. Like you I am finding the New GaGa music out
there. Just downloaded "Alejandro" on Friday which I like. Thanks for taking
the time to share.

The following are the songs I’m listening on my iPod/iPhone/iTunes for the
week ending 11/14/09.
Adam Lambert was still the most played song on my iTunes by far over all of
the other songs. Some of the new songs this week are very interesting.
I love the new remix of Mariah's new single "H.A.T.E U." While I don't care
for the original at all, this remix by the Jump Smokers Remix team is really
good.
As usual, I always like her remixes lately more than her original versions.
I also like the Jason Nevins remix of "Happy". I am not liking the new
Rihanna CD
at all. I have heard almost all of the songs by now and none of them are
worth charting. So the only hope are remixes. I do like the remix of
Russian
Roulette", but I doubt it will even be a top ten song. Another song from
Lady Gaga's "Fame Monster" has leaked called "Dance In The Dark". That has
single potential all over it. So I'm charting it already because I've
played it a few times this week. I suspect that Adam will be on top for a
while given how much
I like the song.
It’s my personal chart based on number of plays:

TW LW Song Title
1 1 For Your Entertainment – Adam Lambert
2 2 Bad Romance (Chew Fu Remix) – Lady Gaga
3 3 Time For Miracles – Adam Lambert
4 4 Heartbreak on Vinyl - Blake Lewis
5 6 Revolver (Paul Van Dyk Club Mix) - Madonna w/ Lil' Wayne
6 13 3 (Dave Aude Club Mix) - Britney Spears
7 8 Release Me (Cahill Radio Edit) – Agnes
8 10 Flashback (Erik Pryde Radio Edit) – Calvin Harris
9 9 Binary Love (Moto Blanco Radio Edit) – Blake Lewis
10 5 Freak - Blake Lewis
11 -- H.A.T.E.U (Jump Smokers Club Edit) – Mariah Carey
12 7 Make Me (Ralphi Rosario Martini Mix) - Janet Jackson
13 18 Heartbreak (Radio Edit) – M’Black
14 -- Happy (Jason Nevins Radio Edit) – Leona Lewis
15 16 Bigger – Backstreet Boys
16 17 Remedy (Kaskade Radio Mix) – Little Boots
17 14 Funhouse (Digital Dog Radio Edit) - Pink
18 11 Uprising - Muse
19 12 Somebody To Love – Leighton Meester featuring Robin Thicke
20 22 I Didn’t Know My Own Strength (Jonathan Peters Club Mix) – Whitney
21 -- Russian Roulette (Jump Smokers Radio Edit) - Rihanna
22 -- Dance In The Dark – Lady Gaga
23 19 Million Dollar Bill (Freemasons & Rauhofer Mixes) - Whitney Houston
24 20 Cowboy Casanova - Carrie Underwood

Nice to see PSB at the top of your chart, although I am not surprised. I am
surprised that Lady GaGa only moved up 3 on your chart, but then you rarely
have any song make to big a jump. Maybe with all the falling songs on your
chart that will change next week. Will be looking forward to see. Thanks for
sharing.

Debuting at #20 next week is "Jealous Of My Boogie" by RuPaul. The song has
been on my "Future Hits" list for awhile, but I've never gotten around to
charting it... And, to be honest, it probably won't be around long... A song
that will definitely have a much longer chart run is John Mayer's "Who Says"
I think it's John's best single ever, and I predict it will do very well.
His best so far is his only #1, "Love Song For No One". I'm pretty sure
that "Who Says" won't become his second #1, but we'll see what happens...
And, in the same chart week that Pet Shop Boys have the #1 song on a
Billboard chart, they also have the #1 song on mine...

MY TOP 20 for the week ending November 21, 2009:

#20. "Jealous Of My Boogie" -- RuPaul (DEBUT)

#19. "Phantom Bride" -- Erasure

#18. "Who Says" -- John Mayer (DEBUT)

#17. "Bad Romance" -- Lady GaGa (up 3)

#16. "Funhouse" -- P!nk (down 3)
(former #1 for 2 weeks)

#15. "Wonderful" -- Gary Go (up 3)

#14. "Wonder" -- Jack Savoretti (up 3)

#13. "Day Tripping" -- Sharleen Spiteri (down 4)

#12. "We Are Golden" -- MIKA (down 6)

#11. "Scarred" -- Kevin Rudolf (up 3)

#10. "Fireflies" -- Owl City (up 2)

# 9. "Make Me" -- Janet Jackson (up 2)

# 8. "Bulletproof" -- La Roux (up 2)

# 7. "Celebration" -- Madonna (down 3)
(former #1 for 6 weeks)

# 6. "True Love 1980" -- Ash (up 2)

# 5. "I Don't Believe You" -- P!nk (up 2)

# 4. "Welcome All Again" -- Collective Soul (up 1)

# 3. "Heartbeat Radio" -- Sondre Lerche

# 2. "One Day" -- Jack Savoretti (down 1)
(former #1 for 2 weeks)

and my new #1 song is...

# 1. "Beautiful people" -- Pet Shop Boys (up 1)

Songs that fell off:

"Pattern Of My Life" -- Annie Lennox
Peaked at #4 / 12 weeks on chart

"Sexy Bitch" -- David Guetta featuring Akon
Peaked at #15 / 4 weeks on chart

Cool, Looking to see how well Luigi Masi & Medina do on your chart.
Particularly impressed with the 7 notch leap "You And I" made. I will have
to go look for "How Do You Know" by Agnes. Surprised that "Show me what I'm
Looking For" only moved up 4 after last weeks big jump. Couple of new things
here I am going to have to check out. Thanks for sharing.

After only including releases from the previous 18 months to calculate the best
selling albums on the Billboard chart, Billboard will now be incorporating
catalog releases due to the massive sales of both Michael Jackson and The
Beatles.

The sales chart on November 25 will be the first official comprehensive chart.

In digital music news 4 artists have already broken Rihanna's track sales record
of 9.9 million digital songs in 2008 including Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, the
Black Eyed Peas and Taylor Swift.

But the biggest news is probably that Taylor Swift is the only artist that
outsold Michael Jackson this year in album sales!

That's a mighty big accomplishment, Taylor! Congratulations!

Nice to see "Pandemonium" doing so well so quickly... It will be a big hit on my
chart too, but I've decided to save it for next year... I think I'm going to
with "All over the world" next...

I'm glad you're also a fan of John Mayer's new single...

Cool that Sophie's back in your Top 20, and I hope Collective Soul makes your
Top 10 next week.

Oh, and I almost forgot... I don't have Jack Savoretti's "One Day" yet -- I just
play the music video on YouTube a lot. I'll send you "Wonder" ASAP.

Is there anywhere else to hear this? I will NOT go on to Perez Hilton's
sight.
I have already downloaded the second track from "Fame Monster". It's called
Alejandro".I really like it.

Below is the track listing for Disc Two of "Fame Monster"

1. Bad Romance
2. Alejandro
3. Monster
4. So Happy I Could Die
5. Speechless
6. Dance In The Dark
7. Telephone
8. Teeth

There is also a Bonus Track on the first disc in Japan

1. Retro, Dance, Freak

Not sure what is going on with the other tracks I have seen on You Tube.

No Way
Filthy Pop
Second Time Around
Love Mail
That Ain't Cool
Here We Go Again
Wunderland

I have downloaded the first three. It's possible they could be another
artist. Matter of fact "Filthy Pop" sounds like it could be Gwen Stefani.
Anybody heard anything on any of these?

Also the release of "Video Phone" by Beyonce with Lady GaGa has been
postponed till the end of the month when she releases a repackaged I am
Sasha Fierce CD.
Talk to you all later.
Bruce

OMG !!

The new Lady Gaga song from the upcoming "Fame Monster" which is rumored to
be the second single after the excellent "Bad Romance".

"Telephone" by Lady Gaga featuring Beyonce is an amazing song.

"Telephone" by Lady Gaga featuring Beyonce is an amazing song.

Debuting at #20 next week is "Jealous Of My Boogie" by RuPaul. The song has
been on my "Future Hits" list for awhile, but I've never gotten around to
charting it... And, to be honest, it probably won't be around long... A song
that will definitely have a much longer chart run is John Mayer's "Who Says". I
think it's John's best single ever, and I predict it will do very well. His
best so far is his only #1, "Love Song For No One". I'm pretty sure that "Who
Says" won't become his second #1, but we'll see what happens... And, in the
same chart week that Pet Shop Boys have the #1 song on a Billboard chart, they
also have the #1 song on mine...

MY TOP 20 for the week ending November 21, 2009:

#20. "Jealous Of My Boogie" -- RuPaul (DEBUT)

#19. "Phantom Bride" -- Erasure

#18. "Who Says" -- John Mayer (DEBUT)

#17. "Bad Romance" -- Lady GaGa (up 3)

#16. "Funhouse" -- P!nk (down 3)
(former #1 for 2 weeks)

#15. "Wonderful" -- Gary Go (up 3)

#14. "Wonder" -- Jack Savoretti (up 3)

#13. "Day Tripping" -- Sharleen Spiteri (down 4)

#12. "We Are Golden" -- MIKA (down 6)

#11. "Scarred" -- Kevin Rudolf (up 3)

#10. "Fireflies" -- Owl City (up 2)

# 9. "Make Me" -- Janet Jackson (up 2)

# 8. "Bulletproof" -- La Roux (up 2)

# 7. "Celebration" -- Madonna (down 3)
(former #1 for 6 weeks)

# 6. "True Love 1980" -- Ash (up 2)

# 5. "I Don't Believe You" -- P!nk (up 2)

# 4. "Welcome All Again" -- Collective Soul (up 1)

# 3. "Heartbeat Radio" -- Sondre Lerche

# 2. "One Day" -- Jack Savoretti (down 1)
(former #1 for 2 weeks)

and my new #1 song is...

# 1. "Beautiful people" -- Pet Shop Boys (up 1)

Songs that fell off:

"Pattern Of My Life" -- Annie Lennox
Peaked at #4 / 12 weeks on chart

"Sexy Bitch" -- David Guetta featuring Akon
Peaked at #15 / 4 weeks on chart

I have to say I was worried about the Sugababes without any original
members but I must tell you all that I absolutely love "About a Girl"...it's the
most danceable single they've had since "Push the Button"

The following are the songs I’m listening on my iPod/iPhone/iTunes for the week
ending 11/14/09.
Adam Lambert was still the most played song on my iTunes by far over all of the
other songs. Some of the new songs this week are very interesting.
I love the new remix of Mariah's new single "H.A.T.E U." While I don't care for
the original at all, this remix by the Jump Smokers Remix team is really good.
As usual, I always like her remixes lately more than her original versions. I
also like the Jason Nevins remix of "Happy". I am not liking the new Rihanna CD
at all. I have heard almost all of the songs by now and none of them are worth
charting. So the only hope are remixes. I do like the remix of "Russian
Roulette", but I doubt it will even be a top ten song. Another song from Lady
Gaga's "Fame Monster" has leaked called "Dance In The Dark". That has
single potential all over it. So I'm charting it already because I've played it
a few times this week. I suspect that Adam will be on top for a while given how
much
I like the song.
It’s my personal chart based on number of plays:

TW LW Song Title
1 1 For Your Entertainment – Adam Lambert
2 2 Bad Romance (Chew Fu Remix) – Lady Gaga
3 3 Time For Miracles – Adam Lambert

I kept going back & forth on who I wanted to see at #1 this week and
my final decision is Whitney, who pushes past Pitbull at #2. The question
now is, will she still be there next week? Only a few get to move 4 or
more spaces this week and there are only 3 debuts, including Pixie
Lott and John Mayer. Hope all are well out there. Peace!! David

WHO? WHO? OWL CITY: Two weeks after reaching the summit on the Billboard Hot
100, and a week after entering the top 10 on Pop Songs, Owl City's
Fireflies" continues to shine at multiple formats.

The Minnesota-based collective helmed by singer-songwriter Adam Young
becomes the first lead group in almost three years to claim the Adult Pop
Songs survey's Greatest Gainer award with a maiden chart single for four
consecutive weeks, as "Fireflies" soars 17-12. Daughtry's "It's Not Over"
earned the honor for four weeks in-a-row in January-February 2007.

Since, another band earned the honor for five consecutive weeks, although it
was not credited as a lead act. OneRepublic won the Greatest Gainer prize
for five straight weeks in November-December 2007 as featured on Timbaland's
"Apologize."

The only other rookie act in that span with such a streak of Greatest Gainer
ribbons was Leona Lewis, whose "Bleeding Love" logged the largest gain in
plays for seven consecutive weeks in April-June 2008.

The future on Adult Pop Songs bodes well for "Fireflies," considering its
company. "It's Not over" went on to lead the list for nine weeks, "Apologize
reigned for six weeks and "Bleeding Love" ruled for 10 frames.

NORTH END BOYS: Pet Shop Boys extend their lead for most No. 1's among duos
or groups on Dance/Club Play Songs, as "Did You See Me Coming?" becomes
their 10th chart champion (2-1). Depeche Mode ranks second in the category
with eight leaders.

Here is a look at Pet Shop Boys' 10 toppers:

1986, "West End Girls"
1988, "What Have I Done to Deserve This" (Pet Shop Boys & Dusty Springfield)
1993, "Can You Forgive Her?"
1993, "Go West"
1996, "Before"
1997, "To Step Aside"
1999, "New York City Boy"
2001, "Break 4 Love" (Peter Rauhofer + Pet Shop Boys = the Collaboration)
2009, "Love Etc."
2009, "Did You See Me Coming?"

Having reached No. 5 as guests on Robbie Williams' "We're the Pet Shop Boys"
in January, 2009 marks the first year - in more than 23 years of charting on
Dance/Club Play Songs - in which Pet Shop Boys have notched a trio of top
fives on the survey.

WHAT HE 'SAYS' GOES (TO NO. 1): John Mayer ties Jack Johnson for most No. 1s
among male artists on the Triple A airplay chart (viewable at billboard.biz)
as "Who Says" becomes the former artist's sixth leader (3-1). The lead
track from "Battle Studies," due Tuesday (Nov. 17), also advances 40-36 on
Rock Songs.

Among all acts, here are those with the most No. 1s since the Triple A tally
launched in 1996:

10, U2
8, Coldplay
8, Dave Matthews Band
7, Counting Crows
7, Sheryl Crow
7, R.E.M.
6, Jack Johnson
6, John Mayer

I picked up Gary's debut CD earlier this month, and it is really, really
great... I have a good feeling it will end up being one my Top 10 albums of
2009... I also plan to chart at least four other songs from the album: "Open

Same here -- definitely a future #1 forsure!! The "Viva La Vida"/"Domindo
dancing" medley during the show was a major highlight, and I'm really glad that
they decided to record a studio version instead of just releasing a live
version...

I'm also really excited that they decided to release the Madness cover ("My
Girl"), so I'm sure I'll be charting that one too. I was actually going to
chart it earlier this year when it was available to stream at the official PSB
website, but I never got around to it.

Also really looking forward to hearing the new versions of "All over the world"
and "It doesn't often snow at Christmas".

<< "Phantom Bride" is one of my all-time favorite Erasure songs. I never charted
this in the 80's because I would only chart what appeared on BB's Hot 100. I
didn't know any better. When I heard there were new mixes of it, I couldn't wait
to chart one of them, but I didn't like any of what I heard. Are you charting
the original? ... >>

The short answer to your question is yes. If it's the longer answer you're
after, here goes...

If I considered Track #1 on Erasure's new EP to be a remix, then I would
probably be charting it under the title of "Phantom Bride 2009". But since
Track #1 on the PHANTOM BRIDE EP is just a remastered version of the original,
and since I don't normally chart remixes separately, then I am technically
charting:

1. the original version
2. Track #1 on the PHANTOM BRIDE EP
3. Track #4 on the PHANTOM BRIDE EP
4. Track #7 on the PHANTOM BRIDE EP
5. Any other officially released remix or edit of "Phantom Bride" that is not
on the PHANTOM BRIDE EP that has been or will be released in the near future

I also never charted "Phantom Bride" back in the '80s. The tracks from THE
INNOCENTS that I did chart were "Ship Of Fools", "Chains Of Love", "A Little
Respect" and "Heart Of Stone".
